I have been keeping this shirt in a dresser drawer for a while. My brother was at the game and asked someone on the sideline next to one of the boxes of tshirts they give to the players if he could have one, and they gave it to him. I have no idea what one of these is worth since the ones from the field are never sold to the public.

Here's a few pics of it. Please let me know what you think. I'm not sure I want to sell it due to its rarity, but am open to hearing thoughts on a price. Thanks.

The dark spot on the collar is from a drop of water so it is not a stain.

It would be quite the attention getter to wear to gator events, and would be fun to see the looks on people's faces when they get it.

The loser shirts normally get sent to Africa and South America where they’re sold for pennies on the dollar.

It's quite possible it came from a street vendor, but the person he was with vouches that it came from the field. The game played in 2010 says 2009 National Champions on Alabama's shirts they're wearing on the field, so who knows. I can't find a picture of the shirt the gators put on in 2009. Maybe Oklahoma couldn't win because their shirts were screwed up at the factory and it would have been an embarrassment to shows them on tv.

I'll give you 100 Oxbucks and an old ticket stub from the 1979 UF - Tulsa game.

I had a Dale Murphy baseball card once.

Summer of 1990, I bought a pack of Topps baseball cards, no real stars at that point in them, I mailed a few off to players with a SASE asking for an autograph. Got several back autographed, only one really panned out, a second year card for a pretty good pitcher in the HOF now...John Smoltz. Not gonna sell it, never have really priced it, the card alone I've seen on Ebay goes for about $25-$30.

That was NOT an 'on-the-field' T-Shirt. I've been a sales rep in the sports business for 25 years, and have repped a ton of 'hot market' shirts/caps/sweats/etc to dealers, fan shops, bookstores--even directly to the teams & events themselves all over the southeast. I can assure you that was not a Nike locker-room/sideline champ shirt. First off, Nike is adamant about logo placement--it's kinda like the 11th Commandment...there WILL be a swoosh highly visible on the shirt & on the tag. The tag in the photo is folded some so I can't see it all, but there doesn't appear to be any logo--just a generic t-shirt some street vendor ordered from a distributor and had it printed. In other words...bootleg.

The other thing which I find highly suspicious is the color in the Oklahoma wording--it's outlined in blue. Licensing Dir at OU would NEVER have approved that. Dealing with licensing folks at the schools can be an adventure sometimes, but even the ones who are great and easy to deal with...they don't bend when it comes to official colors & marks. They would have allowed a black outline/shadow--but no way the blue would have been used in a sideline champ shirt. Those shirts are done on "if win" basis and even though Nike doesn't do their own printing(it's all contracted out to regional screenprinters who can handle the capacity), their QC folks would never let that pass through.

The buddy who vouched for it being a OTF shirt might have been partying a bit too much.
