you forgot " won the SEC" in a down year.

Well, we won the East, yes,(though it'd technically be considered backing in based on your criteria). I'm not sure if you're implying it was a down year for us, or a down year for the SEC. The first I'd agree on. Our worst team under Spurrier, but also one of his better coaching jobs due to the circumstances. The SEC produced the NC winner, and uga was stout for much of the season, but I don't recall anyone else really standing out, so you could be right. In any event, of his 12 seasons, it was definitely the worst, with only '99 being in contention.

and the SEC continuing to force UF to play noon games in early September "for tv" of course.
.
All the garbage teams get forced to play noon games.

It is what happens when you have a Mizzu,/kintucky/Florida sort of team.

A bunch of butthurt over a season that won’t be played.

I agree. But even when giving us the framework of a fictitious season the SEC can't by objective and balanced. I'm surprised they didn't have Aub vs TxAM week one as a play-in to face us.

This. Completely ridiculous and they’re not even trying to shy away from the bias.

It also fits so well with the year 3 trend with UF coaches.

Spurrier, ‘92—unprecedented disaster on the OL, maybe worst ever.

Zook, ‘04—hurricane moves games around, frat party.

Meyer, ‘07—70+ arrests, player and girlfriend die.

Muschamp, ‘13—we have Will Muschamp as head coach, crazy injuries, rumors of his homosexuality.

McElwain, ‘17—cc fraud suspensions of half the team, hurricane kills game, shark sex, tears

Mullen, ‘20—Covid, complete schedule revamp, half of incoming class can’t spell, and it’s only July.

It’s truly incredible how consistent this pattern is.

(0-2 vs Saban)

Now:

oMg wE GoTs tO PlAy SaBAn!!!!!

Maybe we can get lucky and just keep it close. I was told losing 41-14 was a good thing because we scored twice. so the standards are pretty low with pumpers already.

y'all think saban is scared to death of facing dorky Dan and his band of quality leftovers?
You get a like only because I know it takes a lot of effort to alternate capitalizing like that for an entire sentence.

Also, Chucklehead is 44-44.

we will see where he is at then end of this year.
You stated explicitly multiple times during 2019 that he wouldn’t achieve that. As usual, you were wrong. He’s going to be a 6-2 conference guy here - unfortunately I doubt he does any better.

technically 44 - 44 is not a winning record.

I do think he might go a couple of games over this year though.

I’ve missed threads like this. Also, I’m not sure if season folds. Not because I don’t think there aren’t enough quarantine Karen’s and maskholes, but because of money. How bad would what’s left of Gainesville, Auburn, Starkville, Athens, and Tuscaloosa (might be missing other college centric SEC cities) be hurt with no Saturdays of football bringing in much needed money? Much less the non-profit sports. Especially in places like Vandy where football doesn’t exactly go as far with cash flow anyway
