Good question.
I don't see it happening. Everything will be shifted back a year, just like 2020 never happened.
I don't see how football is going to survive this season on any level. Most likely all will be granted another year of eligibility--high school, Jr college, etc. However, any college player will still have the option to declare for the draft, and the remaining spots will be left to be filled in the next recruiting class by kids that have graduated and choose to not play another year (high school, JC, etc.)
It's going to be a mess for sure.

I'm not making this story up it's a real friend of mine and it actually happened. I understand if you're not willing to believe me because you've heard a similar story but I'm being 100% honest.

Wifes co-worker as well, this wasn't a FB rumor or a friend of a friend of a friend. He and his partner were banned from hospitals for 2 weeks because of it which makes being a med device rep a little tricky. Not too mention they are now in the "system" so who knows what will come of all the people slapped with the covid scarlet letter

The China virus is the best thing to ever happen to Chimp's bank account - he basically gets another free year before the inevitable happens. How the hell his agent got that sort of buyout for a guy who absolutely no other school wanted is mind blowing!

Respectful and understanding of it? I bet you he’s doing cartwheels right now, and having his tranny wife check his phone every 2 minutes in hopes of another player announcing. This is arguably the biggest loser on the planet we’re talking about here. He wants no part of being judged on a level playing field. His entire career is based on his adversity schtick of how no one could succeed with what he had to endure. If this begins a trend among his roster, it will be just the new found mantra he’s been looking for. There was virtually no chance he survives beyond this season under normal circumstances. The COVID outbreak just bought him at least one more year.

This could set up for some fun discussions, especially in light of the Addazio accusations.

If you don’t play and the guy replacing you takes your spot by earning it, how many players try to play the victim and say that lack of playing time in 2021 would be punishment for opting out and making themselves a martyr?
