I can’t believe this site of such far right, snowflake labeling, tough guys has a need for a politics “trigger warning”. WTF???
the trigger warning was in response to a couple of board lefties that nearly stroked out bc they saw something resembling political takes in the sports forum. Despite the fact that the morons those same lefties support and defend are the ones responsible for injecting all the damn political insanity into what was until recently largely politics free entertainment.

I figured as much. It’s still so ironic.

Between the Wuhan Flu and BLM, it is getting very difficult to have a sports conversation without it resembling a political take. Unless of course you want to talk about how Mullen sucks at recruiting!

This is stupid on PSU's part - I imagine, due to the China virus fears, many lefties won't be renewing and will likely NEVER go into large crowds ever again. Just say 10% of their lefty fans don't renew, that's gotta be a few thousand seats.

Honestly, I hope the one good thing to come out of the China virus is that it breaks pro and college sports (to the point where salaries come back down to earth somewhat). I'm tired of seeing a player get a $40 million/year contract. It's absurd, especially when it costs $400+ to go to a game (between ticket, parking, concessions, travel, etc). I'm mostly rooting for pro sports to take the brunt (which I think they will), but I'd also like to see it have an impact on the college game as well (there's no need for a guy like Greg Knox to make $450k/year!).

@BMF , lol that stadium holds 100k+ and fwiw I went to a psu/Michigan game about 25 years ago. There were feet of snow everywhere in the stadium. Most fans there were wearing hunting gear ( floureresant orange or chamo greens)....my point is I don't think were to many "lefties" there.

It's in the NE, there's PLENTY of lefties. Stop kidding yourself.

Like I’ve said, if you want to cripple college towns economies more than they already are (you know, like making a paraplegic into a quadriplegic) just cancel the season. Blame a disease that in Florida has a crap ton of asymptomatic positives, virtually no deaths under 30, one of which is a motorcycle accident, even more have underlying conditions, and feel morally superior while people lose businesses and jobs.

Closer and closer to complete cancelation.

Or a bunch of prima donnas losing their starting roles. As it should be. If I had it my way, they'd lose their scholarships for wimping out and abandoning their teammates.
