I think that Trask not being there would be a plus as far as recruiting goes! You'll have a QB Dan Mullen has recruited that knows only D/M's offense so by DM's standard the offense should only get better! So in recruiting top players, that would help with Trask leaving and Emory Jones taking the reigns. Jones is atleast as good in the passing game as Trask and 1 more year of standby for him and I think the other tools he'll bring to the table that Trask wasn't able to will hopefully allow us to reach the promise land HALLELUJAH

Where he's getting high 4* players in his recruiting 5* players seem to be standoffish! He needs to look at his weaknesses in recruiting weather that's from a change in coaching staff or it's a change in his selling the program skills! He will never get over that plateau at UF if he doesn't step up his recruiting game with more top 5 talent. And this will always make us 11-1 at best every year with back to back to back almost, shoulda, coulda, woulda seasons.
Now he's had a couple years to get things back up to more decent playing level it's time to start fine tuning the rest. Starting with how and or who is recruiting. If there coaching ability is just so, so then ax them and make a hire that brings more to the table like better recruiting and even better coaching skills. This would hopefully one bring more 5* players but will help our onfeild game also. That's just my 2 cents worth. CHOMP CHOMP

Even chump lands 5 stars occasionally. Mullen and staff have whiffed on player after player that should have been easy to land. Even missing out on players who were leaning our way for months. This is a good pickup for sure but it doesnt fix the problem. If miami didnt already get their guys this could have backfired too.

Mullen just produced the best back to back seasons since Urban & Tebow terrorized the field, and he did it with the same players Mac used to post a 4-7 record.
