More reasons why the Big 10 and Pac 12 suck a fat one. I hope the SEC doesn't give in to this ridiculousness.

If the SEC doesn't cancel the season I will make Jboss a moderator. In their minds, how could they possibly risk the liability nightmares if someone died from COVID after the other conferences had already cancelled?

Liability concerns run this country.

I assume that this is the beginning of the end for football in 2020.

No reason to monitor the data or consider facts, just continue to scare people to death

Supposedly the big ten is lobbying the other conferences to join them

Not everyone feels athletes are exploited if they play. Note that not one of these is political.

This all makes perfect sense

How can you demand mail in voting while playing college football?

It’s gonna be the same for all the others. Too much liability. The schools can’t afford the potential litigation.

I've seen this mentioned, but it is pretty hard to judge that right now. The school's losses might surpass a reasonable estimate of those claims. I'm not arguing that it is definitively so, but it is not immediately obvious that a bunch of multimillion suits (5-10 deaths) that could be tied to players tests would overcome the profit from playing. Now, if SEC schools played, I could see donations skyrocket to make a point in comparison to other conferences.

That noted, I've been public on here for months that I don't believe a season will happen. Sucks.
