Too lazy to look through 9 pages to see if this was posted already but this remake has always stood out to me. Disturbed is not a band I've ever listened to but the Sound of Silence was well done.

it was posted earlier in the thread, but that is worth reposting... great cover

also a testament to how great Paul Simon's songwriting was...

Somebody had posted something by these guys earlier in this thread but I'm too lazy to look to see what it was.

This is an incredible cover, may be better than the original. She is easy on the eyes.

It was me, wayyyyy up thread. And I'm too lazy to look it up as well...lol. But I'm pretty sure it was 25 or 6 to 4 as well as another song or two by this group.

And you are spot on about their covers possibly being better than the original(and that pains me to say because I love Chicago). These folks have as much talent as any group out there--to me that's not even debatable. They are very, very good.

And I totally agree--she is incredibly easy on the eyes.

Not sure if this is a "best cover", but I stumbled across it and found it interesting. You don't hear too many Tom Jones covers but these guys did it pretty well giving it an interesting twist.

For all you fans of Leonid & Friends...

Ksenia Buzina

Vocals

Born in the Transbaikal region of Siberia, in the city of Chita, Ksenia Buzina is credited as being the first Russian singer understood by over a billion people on earth. That’s because Ksenia sings and speaks Chinese fluently and has her own Chinese album and music videos. She was featured in the Russian TV version of The Voice and has participated in numerous television and festival appearances.

Now a resident of Moscow, Ksenia began singing as a child in various school events and competitions. She earned her first paycheck singing at the age of 16 accompanied by her musician Father, performing in local restaurants on the weekends. She graduated with her economics degree from the Baikal State University of Economics and Law where she specialized in “World Economy.” She said, ”I do not see myself as an economist, but I was glad to study at the institute because there I learned Chinese.”

Ksenia didn’t stop there. Besides Russian and Chinese she can also speak English and can sing in English, Chinese, Italian, Armenian, Kazakh, Bulgarian and French. She joined Leonid & Friends in September 2016 with the debut of the song Wishing You Were Here and has become an integral part of the band’s vocal landscape both in the studio and live performances.

Chris Cornell’s version of “Nothing compares to you” and the Wolves “Zombie” aren’t bad takes that are more recent

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you think it’s a great cover then it is.
