For those who say we should cancel the season if it saves 1 life, I suppose you'd also be in favor to reducing the speed limit to 5 MPH. That'd save thousands of lives. In society, many decisions are made that carry some risk.

Meyer looks stoned and he has a shirtless dude walking around in front of him. Why arent yall talking more about this?

It was discussed in another thread yesterday, when it was news - the thread about Meyer getting into the Ring of Honor.

if it doesn't affect soccer then it doesn't affect football.

everytime I look at a TV screen lately those poofers are running around chasing balls.

I actually have thought about trolling the Facebook about "how dare the soccer/NBA players run around sweating on each other without masks"...but I have so many SJW's that they will either actually take up the cause or meltdown all over the post and I don't want to deal with either...yes, I just ignored the WNBA being back again, but is it really playing professional basketball if a high school boys team could beat you? I'm not saying it's happened, but if the Women's National Soccer Team is any example then yes, it would totally happen.

Also, I am sad my Orlando City Lions lost in the Finals of the tournament last night. But they look better than ever so there's that.:dunno:

A lot of disgusted teams might jump ship. Anyone interested in Sec becoming a monopoly by taking advantage of any Big 10 or pac 12 teams sitting out? With airlines these days region doesn't matter. Look how somehow west Virginia is in the big 12 nothing makes sense anymore.

I think the conferences own the rights to the games, not sure a team can break ranks from their conference.

Region doesn’t matter as much as size does. You only have so many games you can play in football. I think 12-14 teams is the max a conference can have with its limited game schedule.

unless the SEC (or whatever the new conference name is going to be) wanted to split into 4 divisions and hold a 3 game conference playoff. One rep from each division in round one (4 teams) and then those winners for conference championship.

obvious adds would be OSU, Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas, Nebraska, And Penn State.

But I can’t see the Big 10 or Big 12 breaking apart.

I've said this before, but the SEC should add two teams (I'd prefer NC State and Va Tech - so we get into NC and Virginia/DMV markets), go to four 4-team divisions, have a 5 team playoff (1 team gets a bye, 1 wild-card) and whoever wins the playoff is declared "national champion". It would piss off the entire country (outside of the SEC).
