I already exercised my option to decline my SECC game tickets this year with no penalty. I likely wouldn't have had the chance to buy them anyway, I've had them since 1995 and I am still well in the bottom 1/3rd of ticket holders seniority.

The only saving grace I can see from the no tailgating thing is that it may hopefully drive more people to local restaurants and bars around the campus, since there will be no food and beverages brought from home. For the people who do attend, I hope that they do, because those places are and have been getting destroyed through absolutely no fault of their own.
And I’m sure if that happens, Stricklin and Fuchs will try to take all credit for the help they provided to local establishments, despite no one in those meetings being smart enough to think of the idea, which is indicated by his not even mentioning it in that statement.

I stood on University with my Dad before a game last year and had a horrible premonition that it was my last game with him. Then about six weeks later he was rushed into emergency triple bypass surgery, then a corona scare... and he's still here.
So you can bet your ass I'll be there. I'll play the reindeer games with the idiotic mask... survived 8 hours at Universal with my daughter last week, we'll make it through four hours in the swamp. Key is to always have a drink in your hand. Drink = no mask.

UF doesn't control tailgating on private property. So Norman Field is out... but plenty of other options.

Considering MOST citizens actually follow police instructions, I'm sure UPD will breakup at least a few tailgates.
