and mine:
There usually are some transfers after a staff change. That said, this is starting to look like a mass exodus. One or two more and their attrition might start looking like ours a couple years ago.

Given how he's done in that area so far, a few extra rosters spots are unlikely to make much of a difference. This is how I'm seeing it. New coach = cleaning house. Still, I'd rather he live with his inherited roster for the first few years than have open spots to recruit with.
I've been thinking of changing my rooting strategy for FSU vs. Miami. Every year I root for catastrophic ground collapse and every year I turn off the TV disappointed. This year I'm rooting for mutant strain. Nothing fatal mind you. Just something that will cause lasting IBS.
I’m really glad to see you take the high road there. Shows character.
I would never wish for a Marshall type accident involving Florida State. There are no mountains in Florida.

This and its not even close. Even if players are replaced by slight upgrades, its still upgrades. Or they could get in former 5-star transfers like we have like Shorter, Cox, and Lingard. No bueno.
They are going to replace those 3 star butters specials with more of the same. The guy can't recruit, and it's pretty clear he can't coach all that well either. He needed to win to get some buzz, and they are face down in the ditch instead. I welcome the transfers, it's just more holes they have to spend time working on just to get back to zero.
I will say this. While I’m still not totally sure he won’t be a good hire, his biggest nemesis at Memphis was Scott Frost, who seems to be having his own struggles adapting to the P5 level. That’s encouraging.
The only transfer they've taken who was "good" is the soft DT from Miss State, Fabian Lovett.
Honestly it’s a scheme issue...the smaller faster guys work great at Memphis and against teams like Ole Miss and teams with weak defenses...definitely easier to keep up the scoring than stop a bigger stronger team on defense
I actually ran into this in Ocala in the middle of a round of golf yesterday, not sure if it's migrating north or south.I've been thinking of changing my rooting strategy for FSU vs. Miami.
