Sirloin for Sunday at dinner. Did two of these to medium rare. With any luck, there’ll be some left for quesadillas later in the week.

I was in Ohiopyle this weekend. Cooked some garlic filets covered in an onion balsamic reduction on the fire pit coals. I did a few taters in the coals too.

Let’s just say my girl was receptive

Not sure exactly what happened with my first pic. I swear I wasn’t sprinting through my kitchen. But anyway, it was just a pork and beef bolognese. Thought I’d take a picture mid cook, but obviously didn’t work.

Rib-eyes on the flat skillet. Zucchini chopped down with balsamic vinegarette. Kids already ate, which I didn’t know, so we had a little apple sauce.

Just put a pot roast in the Ninja Foodi for dinner. We had one a few weeks ago but it's just that good! Using a red wine in the recipe and it's amazing. We can use the leftover pot roast for a burrito tomorrow night stuffed with re-fried beans and a thickened sauce. Something I invented a few years ago and we love it.

Edit 6:45pm - dinner is served!

Didn't take photos tonight because I didn't think it was anything special but WOW! This recipe is a keeper and so easy.
I googled "pork chops and bacon" and came up with this recipe. Bacon makes everything better. The gravy was amazing and even better on the baked potato. (added extra whipping cream and some flour to thicken)
Bacon and Caramelized Onion Smothered Pork Chops

I knew I would be eating not so great tomorrow, so kept the regimen going for an extra day. Broiled some salmon with a salad of brussel sprouts and carrots.

Going to a family get together with fresh mullet and all the trimmings. My bunch is responsible for dessert. Missus made a couple of chocolate pies. I made the banana pudding...

Trying something new - Lasagna stuffed chicken (mozzarella, cottage cheese, egg and seasonings) topped with more cheese and homemade sun-dried tomatoes. Bow tie pasta and steamed broccoli.
