remember when we had Reggie nelson? we got away from trying to play Earl Anthony Joyner outside of the box. he just wasn't very good in coverage but was a lot of help and run support. we were pretty undersized on the line back then too and needed him up the up front.

when I first saw Reggie Nelson running off the screen and like 17 yd deep I thought at first it was a punt defense.

maybe we need to do something like that if we can find somebody back there who can tackle and is fast. obviously that's not Stiner.

We really do already in Stewart. He’s not on par with RFN(few are), but he has speed, instincts and can tackle. He gets a ton of praise for the pick-6 against Lsu in 2018, but honestly his best play was the INT on the long pass against tennessee that year. At the 6:00 mark below. That’s a RFN-type play. We just have to keep him eligible.

keeping him eligible is as hard as keeping Wentz healthy.

And then CDM dodged the question when asked about it (EJ in a wrist brace) , and said he won’t discuss injuries and who’s out for the rest of the year.

SC gave us trouble the last two years; we were down 20-17 in the 4th quarter last year (we scored 3 TDs in about 5 minutes to win by double digits) and in 2018 we were down 10 going into the 4th quarter and made the big comeback to win 35-31. I wouldn't expect a blowout - but if we do blow them out I'll take it as a good sign.
We were playing ND ball then.

Hopefully, we are back to Gator football for good.

You're being way too cheerful lately. I don't like it. I am not sold till I see Kirby Dumb spitting blood out of his nose for screaming so hard at his flee infested turd of a team being behind by at least 2 TDs. Mullen better get his damn wrist bands straight this time, because his loss to them last year will not be forgiven until then. Fvvk jawja.

Assuming EJ is actually hurt, if the good guys build up a big lead, will we see AR? It would be a perfect situation.
I think we’ve seen a large enough sample size of coach Mullen to know that this isn’t happening. Even if he does come in it’ll be a run heavy offense just like when EJ is in there.
