I got to thinking about a couple of pistols that I have that I really don't need. One is the first pistol I ever bought and is a Ruger P89 - 9mm with two 15 round mags. I've put maybe a couple hundred rounds through it over the 20 or so years I've had it.

The other is a cousin to the P89. It is a Ruger P90 .45 caliber. It was used when I purchased it so I don't have any idea how many rounds have taken a tour through it. Both weapons are in very good condition.

Any idea from some of y'all that regularly buy/sell/trade what these are worth if I were to try and sell them?

$300 to $400 apiece. Maybe a bit higher now due to scarcity of readily available handguns in general.

If you want to sell, now is a good time. You could put them on consignment at a gun shop or find a private buyer in your state, if legal to do so.

A gun shop would give you a maximum of 60% of retail value if they were to buy them from you.

Consignment is usually a 10% fee, so you get 90% of retail and no risk of liability from selling to an unknown to you buyer.

What fodderwing said... you can always look on gunbroker or gunsamerica and check, and ultimately use to sell if you want.

I don't have a .45. If you live in Florida we might be able to work a deal.

solid guns. Probably not a lot of demand but there are some Ruger fans out there. Depending on how the election goes they may be paying triple that to get their hands on anything, even an older design.

They ain't worth crap. You can send em to me and I'll take it from there.
Thanks for your valuable input and offer to dispose of them for me. In order to ship them to you, I'll need your full name, address, social security number (for background check) and credit card number before I can send them out.
