My favorites in Jax are Carmine's (Avondale) and Mellow Mushroom (Avondale, Tinseltown, other locations). Moon River (Murray Hill) is really good. A lot of people like Al's (Ponte Vedra, Atlantic Beach, 5 Points), but it's just ok in my opinion.

The mellow mushroom down here can't stop getting health violations for being unclean.

Yeah, the one we went to Atlanta was really good but I went to one in I think Orange Park and it sucked.

If you are in the Gainesville area... check out Blue Highway Pizza. They have a few locations around town. Excellent.

I took @TheDouglas78 ’s advice on Backwaters; great spot and food. The back deck overlooks the intracoastal.

Not a big pizza person, but the best to me is Prince St. Pizza(NYC) and Zipzs in Jupiter.
