I’ll take this with the grain of salt being out of our East foes. With that being said. I’m furious. ZERO. ZERO. Reason we lost today. No excuse. Pathetic. But, if a loss is gonna open the eyes, there probably wasn’t a better scenario.

also, no way in helllll, there was only 25k there of fans. Still, no excuse. The d is abysmal. But needed to be said.

My only problem with this argument is we have known for three years that we didn't have the right guy. We have known for three recruiting cycles we have failed in recruiting the talent needed. It's no longer on the coordinator or position coach, it's on the head coach.

Ok then, answer my question. Who? Who, legitimately, could we get that’s better than Mullen? Name this mythical beast please!

No one. The naysayers are pissed as we all are. I don’t believe there is a single coach in any realm that would have turned this around to the point we are as pissed as we are.

That is the question you throw out there like the muschamp and butters supporters before mullen. The question is does Mullen show he has what it takes to be an elite couch or have we got his ceiling. And with working on year 12 of his career and the same issues over those years, the answer is yes. Who is willing to listen or accept an offer to UF right now. That is the question. But I know what we are throwing out there isn't working. But you throw his question out there because it's an easy deflect instead of looking at reality.

Well hell, as long as we’re dreaming instead of actually answering a simple question, then I pick Bill Belichik! I bet he could beat tamu with his sweatshirt inside out and backwards!

Impossible question?

More like it’s an impossible task. Just nut up & fkn say it, there’s NOT a better option now. Everyone else is just another fantasy hire like Scott Frost or Chip Kelly. Boy, I’m sure sorry we missed out on those guys.....

What I said is NOTHING like saying all Grantham needs is a different scheme or anything else. Quit trying to reshape the discussion to something you think that you have a remote chance of saving face with. It’s stupid and makes you look even more silly.

It could be worse. Thankful we're having a season.

D needs to make 3 stops a game. 3 stops. And we'll be competitive. That's what Mullen needs to throw out to Grantham et al. 3 stops.

And get some players from CC that can start next year.

Remember, Reggie Nelson came with an AA from a community college.

Deflect? Dude, it IS reality.

Also in the SEC you are going to lose a few games if you are this reliant on the passing game and don't have the ability to just line up and run the ball down the middle of a defense some. Bama and LSU in recent years could run when they needed to.

In the SEC your gonna lose several games if you can't stop ANYBODY!

Perhaps it’s time for the HBC to share with Dan his personal story of how he dumped Pruett for Stoops after the 1995 season. Nothing personal, just business.

Mullen was the right hire to stabilize the program after 2 abysmal coaches. He’s made us competitive and wanting more.
That said, he’s living on borrowed time with the recruiting failures and that fat m’fer in the pink tent coaching our defense.

Fumble was at midfield with 3:40 left in the game. Sucked, but I remember a time when our D would nutt up. Not anymore.

It's crazy how things are polar opposites now, we use to have to rely on a defense to not let anyone score more than 14 a game cause our offense couldn't keep up. Now we need our offense to be just a bout perfect with no mistakes drives ending in punts, just to ensure a win. Once again I'll credit the posters on here that were predicting this scenario a few years back. It's more exciting to watch when you have a potent offense at least, but still sucks just as bad when you lose.

I find it equally disheartening.
