I’ll take this with the grain of salt being out of our East foes. With that being said. I’m furious. ZERO. ZERO. Reason we lost today. No excuse. Pathetic. But, if a loss is gonna open the eyes, there probably wasn’t a better scenario.

also, no way in helllll, there was only 25k there of fans. Still, no excuse. The d is abysmal. But needed to be said.

Mullen's press conference had a few interesting aspects: (1) he wore a face covering for the first time only after a loss; (2) he was notably pissed for the first time at the defensive coaches and players - about damn time, though viciously focused winners would have been that way after the Ole Miss game to avoid the inevitability of this game; and (3) he was flat out calling Fuchs out to allow all 90k in the Swamp. He seemed angrier about that than our defensive performance and was very much pushing to lift all limts, while doubting the real numbers at Kyle Field.

Last point - our media is beyond bad. If we win, these post-games are 15-20 minutes. Now, this obvious shyting of the bed on defense and he leaves the Mic after 5 minutes, but not because he fled. Our media couldn't think of questions to ask. No wonder he is complacent. So many obvious questions and no one teed them up. Among them: What was the thinking having Davis and his ball control issues on the field at that point? Why, with 1:33 seconds and aTm in field goal range on third down did you not call a timeout? What is the specific plan to fix the defense? How are the other young DT's looking; is Wingo just not ready/how far away is he from seeing the fielf; what is the reason the LB's can't get off blocks (coaching or skill); are you concerned about the overall undersized nature of the defensive recruiting; is this changing your recruiting outlook; is the offense becoming frustrated at the defense; does the offense start to play tight, realizing that even one punt or one turnover will lose the game? Etc.

Don't feel bad, you weren't the only one on here saying Mond would stink against us. He'll just suck against everyone else. lol

I’m sure others were on it as well but Donk imo was first to really focus on how light we are up front. This simple fact is destroying us. Not to mention our annual difficulty with basic tackling. Nobody wraps up.

No. I truly don’t believe any one else could. I doubted. Dont get me wrong. Ut um unc. NADA has been to ny6. If you want to compare us to that. You’re just in the wrong element. They are hoping for ny6. We’re already on title level. BIG difference.

Title level? Exactly what title would that be?

I would add the question “you do realize this is quite possibly the worst defense literally in the history of anything, not just UF, but the world?” Yeah I think that question should have been asked

Mullen was the right hire to stabilize the program after 2 abysmal coaches. He’s made us competitive and wanting more.
That said, he’s living on borrowed time with the recruiting failures and that fat m’fer in the pink tent coaching our defense.
Truer words were never sspoken.

Next year, no Miller, no Stewart, no Davis, no Cambpell, no Slaton. Beyond Dexter, we’re 240 across the board, playing low scoring football.
Yeah, it just keeps getting uglier with Grantham.

Who the fvkk is playing LB next yeah? Two freshmen?
