He'll fit right in. Only coach in NFL history to blow two 15+ point 4th quarter leads and lose in the same season. Add in that fiasco in the Super Bowl where he blew a 25 point 3rd quarter lead...a game where 2 first down conversions at that point in the game, coupled with running the ball after said 1st down conversions wins the FRICKING game, and, while he'll fit in nicely with Grantham, I have to ask myself if we really want him. The guy seems to be infected with loser stench.

Quinn and GM Dimitrioff both out. Long overdue. Dimitrioff should have been fired 4-5 years ago & Quinn should have been sacked after last season at the latest, maybe even after the prior season where he went 7-9 coming off that Super Bowl disaster. Now if the Falcons will just get rid of that overrated stiff Matty Ice, a guy who will never lead his team to the promised land despite all the stats during the regular season, then maybe the Dirty Birds will have a chance to do something worthwhile in the next 3-5 years.

Honest questions...would Mullen even know how to effectively use a special assistant if we had some on staff? My understanding is we have Paul Pasqualoni but has that done us any good? Bama seems to have quite a bit of success with special assistants and analysts but do you think their success has anything to do with the fact that their head coach is Nick Saban? Just wondering...

And even if we did, I don’t think it would make much difference because the captain of the ship would still be the same guy that thinks TG, Ron English & the others are quality coaches worth keeping.

Good point, but he has to be an upgrade. I could coach defense better than the dwag. It's just a matter of Y's and X's, or is it X's and Y's, or X's and O's, well you get the point.
