F that's true. I few years ago it seemed like flying roaches were everywhere. I didn't want to live on this planet.

true story...

while growing up I had a garbage can in my room due to being lazy and not wanting to walk to the kitchen to throw something away.
I had finished up some Publix brown sugar/cinnamon pop tarts and of course didn't eat the crusts. So I put the crusts into the wrapper and went to sleep.
About 3 or 4 in the morning I'm awakened by someone or something eating what sounded like potato chips.
After doing a 'wtf is that?' search, I looked in the garbage can and saw a massive cockroach eating those pop tart crusts. dayum that was disturbing.
I sprayed that fucher with most of the can of RAID for good measure.

no more garbage can in the room

But did it fly?
You haven't experienced hell on earth until you've been attacked by a flying cockroach.

My sister lives in South FL and one time when I was visiting I turned on the back porch light to walk the dog and a cockroach the size of my hand fell on my head! You never get over that!

not that night ... but I was visiting my high school girlfriend one time and one flew at us in the hallway.
I believe that was the night she questioned my testosterone levels.

there were probably other occasions as well that I wasn't made aware of...

I don't believe any of you live in Florida. Cockroach, Palmetto bug, big a.s.s waterbug, whatever. And you guys have lived here most of your lives and you're afraid of them. They are afraid of the sole of my foot. Squash...clean up guts. Problem solved.

CD, you must have small hands. That guy might be the size of half your hand if you met up with grand daddy. Fly in my face? Flick, squash, clean up guts. I've lived here for 90% of my life.

Now here's what can get your blood flowing. I'm out in my yard minding my own business. I have a lot of trees. Plop, bam, a 4 foot snake falls out of a tree and onto my head and shoulders. Never could figure out what it was. At least Moccasins don't climb trees. I hate snakes.

Waterbug? pffft.

Flying cockroaches are an affront to nature. I don't hold any quarters. Once I'm over the initial horror, they are killed without predudice. I loath them almost as bad as a leghumper.

Thankfully we only have small wood roaches in KY. No big deal. When we found snakes in the house we tore down the house and rebuilt.

There are brown recluses in the barn. Deciding what to do.

Just want to make you feel better. They are multiplying as we speak.
