From what I gather, this thread has devolved to GIG wanting Doug to bite his worm, and that Doug thinks GIGs worm is a micro worm.

What an absolute disgrace. The record the last two years and the shutouts last year was nothing but fool's gold, just like Muschamp going 11-2 in year two. In both cases, anyone who watched it knew there was a problem, something wasn't right. With Grantham, his fate was sealed by signing 1 DT in 18 & 19 and no ILB's. You'd think they would have come up w/ a plan when Campbell got suspended (or whatever his issue is) - either getting Dexter more reps, getting Humphries ready, or moving an OL over to get some size along the DL. But, he decided to go with a 285lb SDE as our starting DT and two DE's that are just under 250lbs.....and here we are.

Urbs was right when he kept stressing "talent and culture."
SOS built the culture and, although Zook took a chip out of it, at least he kept up with the talent.
Urbs came along and brought it back, then Chimp completely destroyed the culture, and shark finished the job by destroying the talent.
Now we're stuck with a staff that can't recruit to save their lives, and an administration that apparently doesn't care.
It's sad but true.
