Mullen doesn't own 75 of 85, in fact 14 starters aren't Mullen recruits:

2. V. Miller*
3. S. Davis*
4. M. Davis
5. Stiner*
6. Houston
7. Carter*
8. Wilson*
9. Brunson
10. Moore
11. Gamble
12. Toney*
13. Campbell*
14. Stewart*
15. Moon*
16. Trask*
17. Wells
18. Heggie*
19. Forsythe*
20. McWilliams
21. Lenton
*starter

EDIT: add 22. Delance, another starter.

Wrong. He has had three classes of 25, including transfers.

if he didn't like the garbage that was left he should have recruited something better and convinced the garbage to find a 1AA team.

What year is it?
No, no. Too late to finally pay attention to recruiting, defensive recruiting in particular, and notice that your DC is garbage.

This recruiting class is done. Changing coaches doesnt give them time to affect it, with 85-90% of kids signing in December.

So.... even if he made a hire of a solid to premier defensive coach who is an elite recruiter, at best they affect the 2022 recuiting class, which changes the garbage product on the field in year 3.

Mullinz will be a just a bad memory not even in the rear view mirror by 2025, unless of course we're lucky enough that he lands in the SEC East.

Both sides have a modicum of truth here. We have more than 10 pre mullen players on the roster, but we also could have less if mullen actually crooted better and jettisoned the dead weight. Stiner may have been here when mullen showed up (not his fault), but he's still here and still starting. Thats 100% on dan.

First of all...Just teaching the players we have to TACKLE would do wonders. If our DL is too small, put a few extra in the box on running downs.

Donk WE GET YOUR POINT on recruiting...How could we not? You drone on and on about it.

But this is more than being out matched. How does a GA Southern or AP State hang with much more talented teams for 3 QTRs? If they can tackle why can't an undersized Florida?

With this O, if our D would have stopped TAMU just a few more 3rd downs we would have smoked them.

I get we don't have Bama Talent BUT this is lack of coaching BASICS. Grantham did this at UGA with all kinds of 4*+. Your argument does not hold, counselor.

I dont disagree that he sucked at Ugly too with much better talent.

Adding talent wont make a Grantham defense not be a sorry ass Third and Grantham defense.
