Either he is really enjoying the college experience or he is getting bad advice. He is a first round pick, and at his position there aren't many that go in the first round. He could every well be a top 15 pick.

He is not coming back. I want him going pro. It means the 5 star tight ends give us a bigger look.

Jags will take him #1 overall and leave Lawrence for #2.

What an athlete! He needs to go before he gets hurt. EJ and AR are different types of QBs than Trask; so, he needs to take the money while he is on top!

I bet it is just humor, but if his QB was returning he might consider it. With Trask leaving I bet he will as well.

Remember the "free year" theory has been debunked.

Trash is gone, unfortunately.

Also what kind of quarterback is he without a top 15 talent at tight end opening up the middle of the field. Do they view him like Lienart with USC, have a generational talent at RB, NFL talent at WR, and he is a guy who just is a top tier college qb but not a NFL guy because of that lack of experience and having dominant talent around him.

Pitt's is not likely coming back if he's a first-round draft pick like most are assuming he is.

I was talking to a kid this weekend who happens to be the starting center for Troy, Dylan Bradshaw. (I've known the family for years). He's on the Rimington Trophy watch list. The kid is mean as hell on the field and a gentle giant off it.

Anyway, he mentioned that while our Gators were "supposed" to be quarantined, Whitemore went up to Troy and stayed in Dylan's apartment. Dylan lives with the 1st and 2nd string quarterbacks and Whitemore is friends with the QB so he came to Troy to watch him play since the Gators were shut down. He said that Whitemore mentioned what a freak athlete he was, which we all know.... but he also said Pitman was a super nice guy and HARD worker, which is always nice to hear.

I was thinking three things: (1) I can't believe Troy would let the starting center and the 1st and 2nd string quarterbacks all live together. What a nightmare if one of them had COVID! They's lose all three. (2) I wonder what the living arrangements are for our players? I would think they'd intentionally separate position groups.?. (3) Why the hell was Whitemore allowed to travel to another college campus and stay with three other guys?.?. This seems like an unnecessary risk in these times.

Edit: Also, Whitemore said Pitts was gonna make a ton of money in the NFL. Again, something we already know. I would be SHOCKED if he came back for another year. Right now is all about performing and staying healthy.

That kid from Troy I was just talking about is a redshirt senior. He said he has the option to stay for another year if he wants to. I know there's some confusion on this but I would think a kid that is actually plating college football would know what the deal is.

I am not so sure. TrasK may decide he can stay another year and continue to develop and PLAY rather than go to the pros and hold a clip board. I say that because he has not had much playing time in his career.

Oh yeah, I don't think Pitts is coming back. The dude is literally unguardable. Most likely a top 5 pick.

He can only come back if he opts out or if his team plays less than 50% of their schedule.
