I damn near quit watching when we went down 14-0. Gotta give this team credit for staying focused and getting the job done. Coaching left a lot to be desired...especially in the second half, but Dan got one monkey off his back.

Me too! I did walk away from the board for a minute.

We were great as Gators tonight, and we should take some time to celebrate.
But we are ****ed as a country.
Let's have some fun with our football team and celebrate a great win;
Tomorrow is another day.

I agree with a lot of this. But remember most posters don;t look beyond the final score/stats. UGA had a zillion injuries, but hey you play the team that is on the field, so that is what it is. UGA has horrendous QB's, yet how many contested catches did their WR's have to make? Even Gary Danielson who knows very little about x's and o's even said Davis tried to confuse a shytty QB that he ended up confusing himself and gave a shytty QB just an easy TD throw on a 3rd and long it was laughable. We have a good corps of WR's and yet it seems we have no route combo's, none, especially any that help guys by using our top players to help the others. As much as Cousin Eddie sux at game managment and it was everywhere today, I want to give Cousin Eddie credit for finally doing something I have asked about for a zillion years? He finally, finally used the RB's out of the backfield as PRIMARY receivers, not just as a check down/outlet. Nothing wrong with that at times, but why wait years and years and years to use RB's as primary recievers matched against LB's/S's? Well better late than never I guess. So credit to Cousin Eddie. But these constant 2 and 3 WR's within 2 feet of each other every single week is just a joke. Cousin Eddie has done that his whole career. We can't burn clock against a depleted D who has basically given up? At worst just run it 3 times and stop risking these crowded 3 yard passes? Trasks' numbers are the numbers, but not only today but in the past he has been helped by more than a few dropped INT's many of which could have been returned for TD's. Some his fault, some Cousin Eddie's game management.

Its hard to know exactly how it all transpires but yes at time we had some obviously poorly executed routes, some that either resulted in a pick or almost a pick. But there have been a ton of great route combos this year that have basically been un-defensible. My guess is we have a very good passing scheme but it is pushing the ability of players to execute without mistakes, especially due to lack of practice. Watching RBs catching passes out of the backfield has been beautiful. We throw the ball around like I haven't seen us do since Spurrier was here and its awesome.

I do think Dan outthinks himself sometimes trying to call the perfect "they'll never be expecting this" play instead of just taking advantage of whatever matchups present themselves. Sometimes I think his substitutions are crazy, but then again I like how we are building experience at every position. The number of players touching the ball every game is off the charts and that is great for the future.

Shout out to Naquan Wright. The dude is a baller.

I dislike GD as much as anyone outside of Tuscaloosa, but to say he doesn't know X's and O's just shows your lack of knowledge. The only thing I've been able to figure out that you know, is how to bash players and coaches that sacrifice a lot for the team you supposedly root for. Why not just enjoy a great win over a good team that is a hated rival, and sit down and shut the f up.

You sound like a real clown tonight. You said all off-season that Mullen needs to beat Georgia. He beats them and now you’re still complaining. We get it. You don’t like Mullen. Give it a break dude. Nothing he’ll ever do will please you. Just leave it at that. Mullen’s turned this into one of the best offenses in the nation. I’d say he’s doing his job. Of course he has good players. You think Clemson and Bama put up good numbers because they have great schemes? No. Players make coaches. We all get that. Don’t come in here acting like you’re some revolutionary for pointing that out. This was a great win for the team. The fact that it wasn’t clean is actually encouraging. We smashed them without our A game. If someone told you we’d beat them by 16 points and we wouldn’t play extremely well, there’s no way you’d believe it. But it happened. After living through Muschamp and Mac you can’t pretend this would be happening under either one of them. So can we give Mullen a little credit?

Absolutely no friggin excuses for Georgia racking up injuries when all they do is brag about how their young backups/future superstars are just as good.

I've said that Trask is the best QB that we've had since Danny, and that Trask reminds me a lot of Danny.
I took some heat but I think there is really no question now.
But Trask isn't playing for Spurrier, and doesn't have the genius of Spurrier as an offensive mind nor the o line and surrounding talent; and this offense doesn't have the talent on defense like we've been so accustomed to dealing with--and depending on in past situations.
Kyle Trask is absolutely, without a doubt, the best QB that we've had the pleasure to witness since Danny Wuerffel.
And there's no doubt about it.

Schmucko post of this thread. Mullen did a really nice job after those first few possessions. He got it, and I didn’t see it.

Also, I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but ****uga,
the Bennett family and Kirby smart every way possible. He’s such a garbage fag and we out coached and outplayed his talent today which tells me that when chips are similar our guy wins. Deal with it tonight you raging homo. You missed your chance.
