Trask has to be in the driver's seat for the Heisman, right?

Ian Book is going to get massive media fellatio now.

Fat Slob Todd will **** the bed against UcheaT or the Corndogs and cost Trask any chance at the award.

I don;t know what the next level scouts say about this kid's prospects, but even a casual college football fan can see that Book has excellent pocket presence when in today's game it is usually just get it and throw. He does not seem at all bothered when surrounded by massive players at his feet. He knows when to slide or when to get the hell out of there as good as I have seen in quite a while.

We aren't the ones voting, dork. There's an OSU bias and you know it.

Fields has completed 85% of his passes so far this season. 85 percent. Never seen a completion percentage that high.

There’s another bias out there these days that favors Fields if you are honest with yourself

Trash will BE at the Heisman ceremony at least.

That’s because they haven’t moved the Heisman ceremony date. The SEC championship game had been pushed back when the season got pushed back.

Unless I am mistaken, the Heisman ceremony has always happened after the conference championship games. This would be a first.
You're not mistaken. Final votes have always been due the Monday after the conference title games with the award ceremony the following Saturday. I find it hard to believe that they'll keep the Dec 12 award date seeing how Ohio State plays Michigan that day and we're playing LSU, plus a week later we'll have the ND/Clemson rematch and the SEC championship game.

Maybe you should read slower too

He said the Heisman is typically AWARDED after the conference championship games while this year it is awarded prior

You responded by illustrating when the ballots are distributed and returned not awarded
And you need to read the whole thread. The original discussion was about whether or not the SEC Championship game would count in the voting. It will not because the voting will be complete before the game is played.

It's irrelevant when then ceremony is held. What's key is when the voting is complete and withut double checking I'm pretty sure it's always before conference championship games are played.

Here's the post that started the discussion:
Beat Bama in the SEC Champ and it is his

In 2019, Sec Champ game was 12/7, votes were due 12/9, award announced 12/14. Pretty sure that’s how it’s worked for years.

ESPN article I just read about the season so far has Trask listed number 1 among Heisman frontrunners.

If I remember correctly, the votes go in after the conference championship games.
Either way, if Trask keeps up with his consistancy (and I think he will) then he will be invited to the ceremony.
If he continues to be phenomenal and we win the SEC, I think he wins it.
He's already won it in my mind, but I might just be a little biased .
There are some great contenders out there, but Trask has accomplished the most and has really elevated his team.
He's definitely in the top five of the best college football players in the nation.
Just my opinion of course; I don't pay much attention to all the other teams.

It's always after the regular season, which all the Championship games count as part of. When/if is the PAC-12 Championship game?
