Saw these guys at the Filmore in Denver a couple years ago. What a great show they put on.

I may have posted this lady before...but I'm a huge Kate Wolf fan (singer/songwriter).
Nina Gerber is her acoustic guitar player and she is phenomenal.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

And Nina absolutely slays the mandolin on this one, along with the other guy:

loves me some MO

the one he sang about his late Mom killed me...

Was listening to this tidy this evening. The one about his Mom was the third or forth in. Good stuff. Never heard much of them but after hearing a few I was like, “I bet Diddy would like this group.”

My son turned me on to them a couple of years ago... fantastic duo.

Missouri Borderland (which I think I've posted here before) is one of their best, but then again, they have so many good tunes.

Another one of my favorite guys, and some great lyrics...
Like this from Tecumseh Valley:

The name she gave was Caroline
Daughter of a miner
Her ways were free
It seemed to me
That sunshine walked beside her

Are they a couple? If so, dear God he out kicked his coverage and I’m thinking of picking up the Mandolin.

say what you will about their politics/wokeness, but damn this is good, especially the ending:

My wife loves/loved them. I bought ticket to see them in Oakland years ago when they were on top of the world for her birthday. Of course, I bought what was left and high prices but nose bleeds. We get there and right as the concert started, after all the pre-sets, we are asked if we want to get closer. The two of us are ushered down to about the 5th row. We could see their booger’s. She’ll never forget it and it was actually a great concert. This was pre-Bush or whoever it was. They were still the Dixie Chicks.
