Hevesy has a love affair w/ Delance, or he doesn't trust anyone else to play that spot. It's absolutely mind blowing. He's by far the weakest link on the OL.

Grantham (and the D staff) did a really sh*tty job getting the younger players reps. Jalen Lee and Princely = 1 snap each. Princely made a post game tweet, that was later deleted, about it. Why is Marco, Stiner, Stewart, and Davis playing so many snaps? A lot of missed opportunities allowing Vandy to stay within 2 scores until late in the 4th quarter.

I agree on Delance, he’s awful
I was glad to see Braun starting for Reese

The good news is Stiner is down from 90%ish some games and some younger guys like Pierre and Hopper (even if only 10) got some experience.

So I finally figured it out. The highlighted names are basically the starting back 5 (nickle bag). It is those names, mainly, that allowed a true frosh to complete 65% of his attempts on a winless team, gives up 50% 3rd down efficiency. Same names that made Mond of A&M look like Joe Montana. The % of snaps each receives averaged out roughly equals what the opposing QB's completion % will be and closely resembles opponent's 3rd down efficiency. I got it now.

I'd be good if Marco didn't play at all. Jaydon is much better.

The thing with Marco is we’ve seen him at least play decent football in the past. And he’s been close to making some clutch plays but just is getting beaten by a hair in execution. If not, he’s got like 3 INTs this season. I know it almost seems worse than someone like Stiner who’s constantly in no shape to make any play and fails when he is, but Marco’s at least in position. So I feel like he could have a better final 5 or so games.

With Stiner, it’s obviously a disaster that’s reached it’s peak. Unless we play Fitzgerald or Nix, he’s totally out of his league and ineffective. So I’m glad to see any reduction in snaps there.

For sure. He just hasn't been quite the same after his injury. Sucks for him because I think he was probably looking at getting drafted before

Have you noticed Jaydon being out of position?

Hill seems like he’s played really well, though I’m not the best judge outside of the obvious. But like you I hope Marco can get it corrected soon and finish close to his pre-injury self. As I said, he’s inches away from having a much better 2020 story so far.

The Gator Nation podcast, that does the great video breakdowns/analysis, said Hill is the best CB on the team. I'm not sure if that's from PFF stats or another metric, but they've been advocating for him to get on the field more (and for Marco and Stiner to get much less playing time). They're also big on getting Delance out of the lineup, but Delance plays as much or more than any of the OL's.
