Trask has to be in the driver's seat for the Heisman, right?

A few weeks ago I was sure it'd be Fields or Lawrence but I think both are all but eliminated. Lawrence missing the 2 games with covid was a killer but I figured he'd pass for about 600 yards on fsu and jump back in the conversation. With fsu b!tching up and cancelling that game I think he's done. Fields still has a slight chance but him throwing 3 picks this week was a big set back. Also with half the country having a hard-on for shutting the country back down odds are it'll hit the big 10 and pac 12 first. It's hard for me to believe Ohio St plays every game on their schedule with what's currently going on. Luckily for UF we already missed our game and our "woke" quota has been fulfilled.

Trask should go into the SEC championship game as the front runner but I think it'll still go to whoever wins the game.

The award going to Mac Jones, who is nothing more than a mediocre game manager with below-average talent, would be an absolute disgrace. You're going to tell me he's the best player in college football? He's got the EASIEST QB job in college football, by far.

Jones is no where near the best player in CFB this season but neither is Trask. The Heisman does not always go to the best player nor to the guy who will be a good NFL player. Both Jones and Trask are closer to Jason White in my opinion than they are to a Tebow or Jackson or a a Hershel, who were the best or close to the best CFB player.

Then who is, dork? Give me a name or face a ban. Your comments about Trask as a "Jason White" type are outrageous and total nonsense. You're on thin ice.

Make it a good response because you are 90% banned right this moment.....see if you can pull yourself back in. I suggest a lot of flattery and repentance.

I thought I was entitled to an opinion but I guess the Gestopo is back. How about Davonta Smith? He won;t win a Heisman but he is a great player. Lawrence is a great player and maybe the best player in CFB but he won;t win it. I am not arguing your point, but best player and Heisman are not anything. It goes to a guy who plays on one of the best teams.

No he won't. Very few, if any, will give him a Top 3 vote, even in Mormon country. Sober up. He's not that good and they may have the biggest joke of a schedule in the nation.

I think you are not taking into account regional and media bias, which is the thing that hurt Tebow in 08.

The pre-season hype for Lawrence and Fields. I think Fields might have killed his chances this past week, and with the suckeyes possible only play half a season. But even when Trask had the spotline in a prime time game (which is huge) the commentators kept talking about Lawrence, Fields, the kid from BYU and Matt Jones. The stats that Trask has put are are far more impressive, that's not the question. It's what the media and hype machines are selling. And until Arkansas where he had a prime time game on regular ESPN where everyone in the country could watch, the hype machine and eyes on the games was limited.

You're a clown. You're describing it going to the MOST TALENTED player like Lawrence, not the best player. Lawrence has missed games, therefore he's no longer in the running nor should he be. You have to continually put up excellence week after week. Now you mentioned Smith - he's far and away a better candidate than Mac Jones, at least I can see an argument there.

My annoyance was your outrageous shots at Kyle Trask. He's earned better than the insults you threw at him. He's one HELL of a lot more than a game manager QB. He's been the BEST PLAYER in college football so far this season, hands down. Any Gator saying otherwise is getting sent straight to Swamp Gas.

I'm going on record to say that turd at BYU will not be a factor in the voting. When I'm right, you'll get a six month ban. If I'm wrong, you'll only get a 3 month ban.

What hurt Tebow in '08 were scumbags deliberately leaving him off the ballot because they didn't feel someone should be allowed to win it twice. All the people that did that should have been stripped of their voting rights forever.

What hurt Tebow in '08 was Sam Bradford having over 1300 more yards from scrimmage and throwing 50 TDs. TT is possibly my favorite college player of all time, but give Bradford his due: He had a helluva season (until his last game; heh-heh).

Wow, another guy that I may be sending to Swamp Gas. Tebow had the most first place votes for a reason: he was far and away the best player in college football in 2008, and it wasn't close. He was ten times the player Sam Bradford was.

The fact that Tebow had the most first place votes and still lost blows your silly Bradford argument out of the water and completely supports my take.

I stand by my post; Bradford had the better season - it's not about who was the best player. I can't help it that a bunch of other folks got it wrong; just like they were wrong when Eric Crouch got more first place votes than Rex Grossman.

You're wrong. Bradford had better STATS, he did not have a better SEASON - which is why Tebow had more first place votes.

No, Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields are the best players in football. But if the best players won it every year Tebow would have 3 trophies. The media wants Lawrence or Fields to win it but I believe their gonna miss too many games. Best case scenario for Fields is he has 7 games to Jones and Trask 9 or 10 games (if we make up the LSU game). He's not going to have enough stats and the Big 10 is a steaming pile of shyt this year as well.

Mac Jones is having a good year and he's on the best team, kinda like Mark Ingram or Jason White. If he keeps putting up good numbers and bama beats Florida in the championship you know damn well they'll give it to him. I'm not looking it up but I doubt anyone has ever won the Heisman the week after losing their conference championship game to the guy who's his main competition for the award.

I think it'll come down to the winner of the SEC championship game.

You're also looking at a ban. I disagree with all of this.

Heisman criteria;

The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. The winners of the trophy epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.

You mean it doesn't say the person with the better stats is supposed to win?

It’s a little silly when white guys b!tch about race issues. Especially anticipatory b!tching. Nothing has happened yet, my man. Just relax and think about the good and positive.

Obviously, you have never filled out a FAFSA and putting a kid through college. Why dont they apply EEO and Affirmative Action to NBA, NFL and so on?
