They have lower academic standards for athletes than UF, Florida A&M is nearby (hopefully I don't have to explain the value in this), and they were more recently title contenders than either UF or scUM, which could resonate with 16-18 year olds, i.e. those kids can remember them being relevant.

I actually have no idea what FAMU helps. Serious question so pardon my ignorance in advance

The Noles situation is so much worse than the other schools that this board needs to do one of two things:
1) reserve the word "shambles" only for fsu;
Or,
2) use another term for fsu, i.e., "catastrophic decline", or whatever.
catashamble?

the noles need duke (1-7) and the wake (4-3) on their schedule to get to 4 wins. When f$u joined the acc instead of joining the sec, we would kid around that if they could play wake 11 times a year bobby would arrange it. Now they can finish with them. A record of 2-8 sounds about right, but a nole news conference at 10:30 today could end that.

HP leaving Silicon Valley

a buddy of that works there sent me the link last night.

HPE (Enterprise) is moving to Houston (apparently with a skeleton crew left in Cali), but HP Inc. (laptops, printers, etc) are staying.

Others are moving or have moved out of that sh*thole - and many are moving to Texas (Austin and Houston).

What's interesting is that HP has been there since 1939. So leaving is a big FU to the current governor and situation in that state.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the latest tech company to leave Silicon Valley, and is moving to Houston

I'm sure the comments will be something like...

"He's bringing in his own players"
"Norvell wants players who want to be there and want to win"

How many official "Ls" are in Norvell now?
Guess I'll find out when I hit Post Reply
