Other than Pitts, would anybody on Trask’s O start on Mac Jones’ O?

Good thread, Alex. It underscores the advantage Bama has coming in. It’s almost discouraging to compare the teams position by position. Bama is Bama. They pay to recruit the cream of the crop. They hold a decisive advantage on paper.

Euro makes a good point. With Waddle out, it makes the Bama receiving corps less lethal from a speed standpoint. Regardless, Sarkisian will take what the defense gives, and our defense gives lots of choices. I worry more about stopping the Bama run. We lack size and physicality, just the kind of opponent Bama, with that huge offensive line, can exploit to no end.

We’ll need turnovers, big plays and a big night from Trask, which won’t happen unless the OL allows him time to get set in the pocket. Pitts will have an extra someone on him because he’s that dangerous. Can Bama shut down all 6-feet-6 of him? It’s why we play the game.

FIFY

They use Dominion voting technology to recruit while we are still checking picture ID’s at the door

So all you guys are conceding that Jones is better than Trask? I'll take Trask and Pitts and Bama can have anyone else they want. We win.
No. I think the point is that Trask is putting up same or better numbers with less talent.

The better question: Would any of Bama's O take a pay cut to come to Florida? Even the 2's

Trask has a better arm and release than Wuerffel. Accuracy? Hard to argue against Danny, .
I dont know that Danny was incredibly accurate or more accurate than Trash, but DW was probably the most prepared QB ever. During my short stint on twitter I commented about seeing DW and Kresser and the receivers EVERY DAY, day or night, on the practice field running routes, throwing fades (mostly) and other passes probably a hundred thousand times. Quezzie was following me and currected it to hundreds of thousands of times.

The fact that Trash is doing this w an option coach who would prefer QB keepers makes it that much more unbelievable.

I don’t know that I’ve seen a college quarterback do a better job than Wuerffel of throwing to a spot on the field knowing the receiver would get there. That took tremendous preparation and trust in his guys.

The exact opposite of Franks, who literally drove me nuts over sitting on the ball.

bc we are gonna get skull fckd by bama... and I was hitting the johnny black pretty hard last night lol
Pretty sure Bammer is going to score 28 on us before Mullinz even gets a chance to chew Grantham's ass.

I just dont know hiw we hide our gkaring defensive liabilities at safety and ILB. They are licking their lips.

Bammer scores however much they feel like scoring on us.

Agreed.

I didnt know it at the time but I later heard from a player (walkon) that there were plays called where the QB just through to a spot, ie one TE pass where the QB threw to 17 yards deep on the left or right hash 3 seconds or whatever into the play. And DW apparently repped those and the fades to the point that he could basically do it blindfolded.
