This article stinks. A kid good enough to replace Jones in his eyes but cannot start for UCF? FSU would be the obvious choice except whoever plays QB next year there will be killed behind their line. I'm assuming it was a slow sports week for him and a deadline was approaching.

"I realize Emory Jones is supposedly the heir apparent to Trask, but is anybody really sure whether Jones can be an elite college quarterback? Yes, Jones was highly recruited out of high school, has been at UF for three years and has patiently waited his turn, but all we really know about him is that he’s a good runner."

We're as sure of that as we are that a kid who's only ever played a Conf-Usa schedule can handle the SEC, especially with a rebuilt leg.

I wish Milton the best and hope he's not dumb enough to go to Tally. A one year stop in CG makes a lot more sense from every possible angle.

I'll bet the CG Academy would be thrilled to have Milton as their QB!

Everyone thought Tebow was just a runner until he took over his sophomore year and won the Heisman. Not saying Emory is on his level, but I like what I’ve seen so far. And the fact that he has been patient is even better, it means he wants to be a Gator.

Tebow wishes he was as good of a passing QB as Emory.

Putting Milton behind FSU's OL would be 2nd degree murder. At least manslaughter.

Milton should join a team with a good OL that plays in a conference that doesn't play much defense. I'm looking at you, Big 12. Maybe PAC 10.

FSU??? Only if he's suicidal.

I like our QB room. We don’t need any transfers from Disney.

I think Milton is a pretty good college QB. He should look hard at Miami if P5 is his desire. King has done well down there and he could compete with their QB room.

Agree on putting him behind fsu's OL is voluntary manslaughter, murder, or sexual assault as he would be prison raped by the non defenses of the ACC.

Wait, wait. UCF's face of the program is in the transfer portal? LOL. Not only are the fans bailing out so are the players.

Should be a multi-day vacation. A Dooley article posting is grounds for a permanent ban hammer.

The OP is new, so she gets a warning.

Thanks for the reprieve, I greatly appreciate it.

Yes, this was my first time starting a post but I’m not exactly new around here. I’ve been supporter $$$ of UF Athletics and Academia for close to four decades. One of my brothers lettered in baseball in the early to mid 80’s and I have a niece on track to graduate PhD this winter; both are very proud Gator grads. That being said, I’ve been a lurker of GatorChatter and previous forums for a long time.

Btw, women love sports (especially football) too.

Go Gators

My last straw with Bianchi was after he made fun of Tom Petty's Super Bowl appearance by saying who they going to get next "The Monkeys"
Fuc% that guy!
