Putting passing aside, we all know Emory Jones will not be able to make it through a season running as much as he does. Tebow had the frame of a fullback; Jones has the frame of Manute Bol.

Emory had better learn to be a good passer if he wants to survive next year. I personally think we're going to see Richardson long before the season ends next year due to a Jones injury.

Hopefully Dan understands that and decides against calling Emory left, Emory middle, Emory right.

I would be happy if they would stop calling designated run calls for the QB.

This place is worse than Russia - it's a full-blown dictatorship and has been since day 1. You just now realized this after all these years?

Trashing Tebow is a bannable offense, yes. Disagreeing with me is a bannable offense, yes. Just logging in is a bannable offense if I'm in a bad mood, yes.

If you're going to have a terrible opinion, at least back it up with something. Can you tell us WHY AND HOW Emory Jones is a better passer? We're all ears.

I have to see a hell of a lot more from Emory before I even put him on the same passing level as John Brantley, much less Tebow.

Smaller sample size but Tim through a wounded duck when he tried to zip it in there. Watching Emory, think of the passes that were not completed, like the deep sideline pass to Van (against UGA in 2018). Perfect pass that would have been a TD until the pass Interference. What about the TD pass last year against LSU that Pitts dropped as he got hit? Leading us on a scoring drive against Auburn last year - 4 great passes down the middle of the field.

I watched Tebow throw 88 TD passes at UF, and they sure as hell weren't all wounded ducks.

If you're trying to make an argument that Jones has better arm strength, that's certainly a more plausible argument. In terms of being a better "passer", we need to see one hell of a lot more first.

Emory is listed at 210 lbs but he was 195 last year. If he put that much solid weight on, he should be more durable, but I agree that AR at 6'4" and 235 is going to be tough competition for starting. I like Emory's heart; still, he was beat up at ole miss.

If Milton is fully recovered, he should transfer to Nebraska. He’s got plenty of talent physically and mentally, and he’s a very tough kid. He’s a leader and high character guy too.

I am a fan and hope he’s able to play again. But not at UF. Not thick enough.

I saw him in my barber’s shop a week or two into his first season. Looked like a typical college student. After he left my barber said “That’s UCF’s quarterback.” Slight of build, 5’ 11, but very quick mind and feet. Accurate. He’s in that Tua/Kyler mold.

I had him on my college fantasy team last season... he lit it up ...tons of points passing and running

Any running QB is lucky to make it through the year. Tebow did so... with a concussion, a broken rib and a broken right hand.

Passes from lefthanders always look "weird", even the NFL guys. I have no clue why.
Part of it is how few of them there are. (Tebow, Young, Stabler, and.....) Think about though; if you are left handed and have a crazy good arm are you playing football or takin the crazy money the MLB will throw at you?
