This really sums up what we have with Dan Mullen.
"it is what it is, have to play for an SEC Championship Game next week. Have to get prepared for that."
You just lost any chance at a playoff and are now likely headed to play in a non NY6 bowl; beaten by a 3 win LSU team with half of its team not even playing and it's just "Is What It Is."
Some of the other quotes have been great tonight also:
"doesn't feel the defense is poorly coached at the moment and he's pretty confident in Todd."
"loss vs LSU is more on the offense."
Incredible. I thought James Franklin's not seeing his family as reason for losing games was bad well this is about just as bad

You heard him get snippy with McShay during the halftime interview after McShay asked about the poor protection of Trask. “How many yards did we have? 340? I’d say that’s pretty good.” He was upset with our red zone play.

Yeah, watching his halftime interview and post game presser, he is in complete denial and has no clue what needs to be done. I pray to God he isn't our Richt.

Mullen represents some of the worst qualities in a leader. Arrogant and combative when under pressure. Unaccountable during and after failure, unwilling to acknowledge mistakes, swallow some pride and learn from mistakes. Loser.

I guess I was riding in the last occupied passenger car remaining on the Mullen train going into tonight’s game, but I had to crawl out when Mullen completely derailed the train.
Unfortunately, I have zero confidence that we won’t see the entire coaching staff back again for 2021.

Marco is a complete fool, but it wasn’t just him. Elam and Slayton both showboated multiple times after plays, even though the defense was getting their azzes kicked all over the field by freshman. The defense’s lack of discipline and overall schitty play falls squarely on Grantham. The only way Mullen can somewhat save face with the fan base is by schit-canning Todd immediately, which of course won’t happen.
