Who are some coaches you are looking at or hoping for to replace Grantham?

Who are some of the surefire hot names out there to replace Mullen? Coaches that would be the perfect fit here at UF that would guarantee SEC and National Championships to return our program to prominence for years to come and would also send our recruiting up to the next level.

Steele or Mason as DC.

Cousin Eddie isn't going anywhere. However, if the NFL for some unforeseen reason were to poach him, the first call, and yes I am clear-minded and sober saying this, should go to Urban. After he says no, maybe a list of Cristobal, Fleck, Campbell, Fickell, and maybe someone like Doeren or Clawson as a wild card.

Gonna make a bold prediction that donkey won't respond, but will complain about whoever is hired next.

First call Meyer as @gardnerwebbgator mentioned. After that I’d go Freeze, Campbell, Kiffin ( I know this will get hated but I like him), Sark and maybe Cristobal.

Any coach that flunks out in the sunbelt that hard is a red flag for me. And I don't believe he's been a coordinator. Im just not sure it'll translate. He's got the most talented roster every Saturday by a landslide except maybe USC.
I'm with you 100% on Freeze. The uaa would never allow it but he's got a fun offense and will recruit. Freeze would definitely be #1 on my list. Then Campbell and Fleck. Not sure where'd I'd go after that. Promote Brian Johnson with hopes he'll make some major staff changes? Maybe Harsins even though I think he's a low ceiling high floor guy. There's not a deep pool.

The only other coach I would add is Urban. But that’s never happening.

I agree with every coach including Brian Johnson.

However Mullen is going nowhere. I think we’re only looking at DCs.

The answer to that is Mason. The new DC should replace English and Robinson with great recruiters.

I think we are in the same boat as Texas.
We need a sure thing.
Established, elite recruiter with a National Championship resume’.

For me, It’s Urban or nothing.

He says no, we stay with Mullen.

Don't think Mullen would go anywhere.
As far as Freeze, just remember what McElstainsharkhumper did to him in the Swamp.

DC:
Mason would make a good DC, I like how he attacks. Like to see what he could do with better talent. Not sure the 'Rona year would be a good time to hunt for coaches. Lot of factors in there. But Mason is a good one.

Mullen isn’t going anywhere.

DC - Mason, Quinn, Strong, Manuel - there’s a healthy list of possibilities out there.

It’s ridiculous that this late in the season our guys cannot line up, blow assignments repeatedly and yet you can see their ability to make plays IF they are in position. I know we are light on the DL and have recruiting deficiencies at S and LB, but many of those guys make plays, too.

I agree. And I almost put Urban on that list too myself but didn't for the same reason you mentioned. As far as DCs go,I'm not even all that certain that we'll be hunting DCs but Mason's probably my top choice too.
