I am saying...Mullen is too stubborn to fire Grantham

I was told Mullen was like this by someone who's son went to Football Camps at MSU...He stopped supporting MSU after he met Mullen.

I thought Mullen had changed...After the last pressor...Mullen is either clueless or just arrogant

When SEC Shorts is taking shots specifically at tg, there's no denying he SHOULD be fired. We'll see if DM is willing to do what's necessary. Holding my breath...

Let me start off by saying I was firmly entrenched in support of Mullen. However, with the three episodes this year that Cousin Eddie has had, that has changed.First the whining at ATM, then the fight with Missoula and finally defending POS Wilson. Mullen needs to grow some

And that Press Conference...What the Fuchs? "I'm proud of how my boys played" Shoe? It was penalty. Freshman QB? What difference does that make?

And my favorite...We played through all this adversity...LSU dressed 54 players and Tennessee almost canceled...Really? What did you face that ALL of us have not faced?

However, with the three episodes this year that Cousin Eddie has had, that has changed.First the whining at ATM, then the fight with Mizzou and finally defending POS Wilson. Mullen needs to grow some balls and put discipline into this team or it be another shyt show against Alabama. I dread to think what next year will be like.
Short of taking some drastic action, Mullen has to go,along with the Toad.
Rant over.

I actually think he’s a goner. Not even Mullen could be THAT stubborn and bring TG back

Certainly not when he first starts consistently hurting the team.

Gators can do better than Cut throat.
If Mullen is serious about getting to the next level he needs to make a change.

He's gone. He's had an awful season, even by Todd Grantham standards. I said this in Cover2's thread, but the 'noise' is real and there's no way Mullen brings him back. I think English goes too - he should have gone 2 years ago, but they let him stay around when Kirby poached Warren.

One would tend to think the career dissipation light for Mullen goes off with Grantham at some point. Part of me believes that Mullen gets Self Preservation. Think Grantham will be gone soon. Just has to.

This isn't an either/or situation.

I don't think he goes anywhere. Mullen never gets rid of anyone. Twitter talk doesn't mean jack.

I think he’s gone too, but he takes a job elsewhere to save face from being fired.

This to me seems like the best-case outcome.

Mullen has a chance to rescue his tenure with us and making a change at DC is the first and absolutely necessary step. I have to believe Grantham exits after Bammer finishes raping us Saturday. The timing aligns, as ESD will be recently in the rearview and the new coach (or coaches - hopefully English will be gone, too) will have time to save the Feb. signing day. How many DCs did SOS go through before he landed on Stoopsy?

With some absolutely mind-numbingly glaring exceptions - and Saturday's disaster at home against Corndog is at the top of the list - Mullen has exceeded our expectations thus far. Amazingly, his record compares similarly with that of SOS and CUM, as noted in another thread. But if he doesn't move on from Grantham after the SECCG, then I'm out. There's no hope for him and I want him gone.
