Definitely not sold on his abilities....his output is very inconsistent. I'm not a stats guy, but I think its safe to say that he will be leading the team in pass drops going into next season.

Hopefully he'll take the off season seriously and get his hands fixed. He could be a special player if he didn't drop half the passes thrown his way.

Yeah. He does drop catchable passes. We will have some talented receivers still next year so he’ll be a huge part of the core. But not the focus.

I just don’t know who’s going to take over the slot which is probably the 2nd most important position in this offense.

His hands are the least of the problem. He uses his body instead of his hands.

I can't remember who it was on here, but someone mentioned Malik Davis? Either way, its definitely a damn good question. I would think it could be Copeland, with Shorter taking the core spot out wide

That's my point; dude is a freak for sure, but damn we need him to learn how to catch
I bet he'll put in time this off season and develop into a great receiver. He's got the physical skills. he just needs to work on routes and his hands.

it's only really important if you've got a guy who can beat slot defenders.

I expect to see a lot of double tight ends formations. even if those guys are not playing online.

I think it should be N. Wright.

I assume Pierce comes back. So you’re going to have Pierce, Davis, Lingard, and Bowman running. As well as Emory Jones.

Maybe they'll go after that Mark Anthony Richards kid in the portal. Think I remember some of you guys saying he'd be a perfect slot a few years back.

Yep. He would be an excellent portal pickup.

Nobody gets after it on thread titles quite like BMF. Copeland was bad last night . I’m thinking we see shorter like production from this year from him in 2021. Decent but not spectacular player

I hope it’s Malik Davis with a crowded backfield

I don’t think it’s going to be. I just don’t think he’s shifty enough. I think he’s just a really good pass catching running back.

But I could be wrong
