Jimbo (who I can't stand) and TAM deserved and would fill as many fans as Notre Dame especially since it was moved to Arlington.

I'm pulling for Alabama to roll everyone's asses and Saban calling it a day (retiring). He's 70 now and going out w/ an 11-0 SEC season plus two playoff wins for a 13-0 season is a pretty good way to go out. (but I doubt he's ready to retire - he just signed ANOTHER sick recruiting class)

No surprise, just really disappointing. I lost all respect for the committee when they put OSU in over Big Ten champ Penn State a few years ago. This playoff system is all about TV revenue. ND showed the world yesterday that they are not ready for primetime. Half the playoff field spent the entire season playing Duke, Wake, Ga Tech, NC State and the rest of the ACC lightweights. Just ridiculous.

Agreed. The silver lining to this is that Alabama was probably going to win at all anyway. Clemson, who was always going to be in, may be their only challenge. So I’m happy to not only see Jimbo lose out, but also the SEC for their boneheaded decision last week. They might have had UF in ND’s spot if not for us having a second loss. We played the Tide better than anyone else, including A&M. Maybe the easiest playoff imaginable. It’s as many of have said before, a waste of an extra game. Still only two real contenders.

The SEC didn't lose to LSU last week. That was Dan.

The SEC lost a chance(near lock) to have two teams in. Doesn’t change that we lost, but we’ve played almost double the games that Osu has. That makeup game shouldn’t have been played and there’s no logical argument otherwise. Put your teams in the best position to win a title. The B10 did that. The SEC didn’t.

If Dan would've taken care of business against LSU we would be in the playoffs in spite of losing to Bama.

I wonder if Marco Wilson feels the weight of that or is he too focused on video games to realize that.

SEC was making the case that those that played a full season should get in over those that didn't. Tough to do that when you sit your top two teams. Bama and Florida played two cellar dwellers last week. Bama took their game seriously and won 52-3. We treated it like an exhibition. That's not on the SEC.

My experience in these circles is that you should not speak such knowledge, honesty, truthfulness and objectivity. It is frowned upon in many Gator circles who consistently like to play the blame game. We got to play LSU at our place with a team made up of trainers and managers. Bama had to go to a cow pasture and play on a field that looked that looked like it had just been tilled getting ready for corn planting season.

Playing 10 conference games is enough. It’s all the ACC did and it’s way more then the B10 did. Scheduled, sure. I’m not suggesting we shut things down any time a division is clinched. But rescheduled, in a predesigned bye week with nothing to gain, no.

Circa Sports released opening lines that said Alabama is favored by 20 points over Notre Dame, while Clemson is a 7-point favorite over Ohio State.

Well, shyt happens regardless and that's why the ACC was smarter by not playing useless games. They get paid for 2 teams while the SEC only gets one check.

Looks like A&M is in the Orange Bowl. Does that put us in the Cotton Bowl vs. Oklahoma?

Ohio State is a joke and has no business in the top four . Seven ****ing teams in our league would’ve gone undefeated with their joke schedule . They played the equivalent of ****ing Kentucky in their little ten championship. Fukcnut frauds will be exposed badly by Clemson . Little ten was beyond dreadful this year . Candyasses rewarded for their ****ty schedule!
