Trask has to be in the driver's seat for the Heisman, right?

You just killed every vision I had of her.
have you seen her try to type in the box? She's like Jboss's great grandmother on a 750 of gin.

75% of her posts involve "Deltas prowling at night". Hunting Corch or Cooter, I suspect.

I would be willing to bet that Wuerffel will be voting Trask. I've said before, he is by far the best QB in UF history, and Kyle plays the game and carries himself much more in that mold than in Tebow's. I appreciate that much more and will take both of them over TT all day.

No question Spurrier will be voting that way as well.
Let's be real. Tim Tebow is a "hey look at me guy". Kyle Trask isn't. Danny Wuerffel isn't. Tebow cares more about his brand than the university of florida. And he completely sold the freak out when he didn't endorse Kyle Trask.

It won’t be popular, but you’re dead on. This was discussed in the off-season as well. It’s why literally everyone loved Wuerffel, while Tebow was somewhat polarizing with his approach.

Both are great examples, and social media’s emergence has a role as well. But DW just went about his business entirely different and more along the lines of how I want my kids to be. Less show, more humility.

Honestly I’m just not sure what his impetus could be for not supporting a fellow Gator whose stats are better than anyone else’s? Especially when you consider that if team accomplishments were valued the way some are valuing them today, he doesn’t have a Heisman. A QB having a freakish season and carrying a team while his defense is letting him down all over the place en route to a 3-loss season? Sounds exactly like 2007 to me.

This is somewhat true. But Tebow had the ability to raise the level of the whole team, fans and entire program with his energy; which was not really selfish. Once in a lifetime guy.

What I like about Trask is that his passion on the field is fiery, but his off field demeanor is calm.

Trask is the better QB, Tebow is the best football player.

And Franks had a good year in 2018. You’re clearly clueless when it comes to QBs. There’s Tebow and then there’s everyone else.

Trask is a better QB than Tebow? Give me a break. Do you even watch the games?

Grantham made UF team-football too sloppy for non-fans to watch; non-fan support (buzz) is a large component of any Heisman movement. Trask got punished by extraneous factors, such as an unadmired set of coaches.

Boy this thread has come off the rails in the special ways that only happen here. Guy that played a key role in 2/3 of our national titles maligned and not just by a single rogue **** poster. Race for the trophy decided against our boy before the votes are counted. Finding a way, when there seems to be none to turn all of this into a fight about Mullen.

The bowls ain't over and Chatter is in mid-offseason form.

Keep up the good work guys. Don't ever change!

It is really sad that people think Giraffe or Dipshyt "had a good year". how our standards have fallen.

I guess Drunk Doug Johnson was a Heisman.

If you or I went out next season and manage to throw 5 TDs and only 20 Ints, it would probably be a good season for us. Everything is relative to the circumstances. I don't even recall saying 2018 Franks was "good". Perhaps I did, but don't remember. What I did say is that he had statistically the best season since Tebow. That's not debatable. Those are the stats.

I get that it's not a popular position. But I personally think DW is the UF's best QB ever. As Gatorphan said, maybe Tebow is the best football player. But in terms of being a pure QB, I would take DW and it's not close. I also prefer the way he conducts himself, which is also subjective.

I can’t even fathom how good Trask might be if he had as many collegiate starts as Wuerffel. He’s got lots more physical tools.

Has anyone taken a look at Trask and Jones side by side with their respective stats along with the minutes played in each game? I haven't but can't help but wonder how that shines the spotlight on either.
Let me guess......you think Jones is better, right?

Please help me understand how a player that was the second option at receiver before Jaylen Waddle got hurt is now the most outstanding player in college football.
