So unless I’m wrong, the last time we saw him defending a passing play, it was basically not competitive at all as he gave up a TD while being 7 yards away from Smith. And of course, all of this on the back of the cleat situation. I’m fine with him being out, but unfortunately that also says a lot about the character of players McElwain recruited. I don’t care who the opponent is or how badly I may get burned. A competitor absolutely would not go out like that. Even if there was only play left to change that taste, you take it. At least go out fighting, not sulking in your corner.

I get what you’re saying but the guy sucks and shouldn’t be playing . This is really outstanding news . I am pissed that Chester is leaving because of sorry Marco. Calling that bum a turd that won’t flush is an understatement. Marco makes Wondy look look like Charles Woodson , he makes
Dan Werner look like Larry Bird. Whatever keeps the horses ass from the team is in everyone’s best interest .

It’s funny how you can convince yourself of that when you’re drunk...and still end up having to take penicillin
I was in the reserves and had to be southeast asia deployable. Gammaglobulin cures what ills you.

Trust me. They had STDs in Phillipines or Thailand what would eat our STDs as a snack.

My concern here is that the young guys may very well step up and look really good. The problem is they’ll then spend an entire offseason being coached up the same way Marco, Stewart, etc. were. Still though, I agree. I’m more than good with him not being out there. Just surprised it’s his decision.

So..... ESPN says Copeland, Pitts, Grimes and Toney are all out of the Bowl game line-up.

I figured we'd lose but this just sounds unbelievable! 2020, the Covid Year.......

Has any team ever gone into a game minus all their starting Receivers?

Prediction: OU - 50, UF - 31

Maybe we will find our missing running game..... naw

Hate to be so salty about a UF player but I don't think I have ever so outraged by an "individual" act that took so much away from his team and possibly a Heisman. He makes a simple stop on a play that even gets a first down and he acts like he just won the NC. Very selfish and its apparent him opting to the draft now is more about how much he thinks he's that good or knows he'll forever be know as the shoe thrower. Probably a little of both. Either way, he gone and good riddance.

@osgators: 'I know he's excited to go play. He's such a competitor,' Dan Mullen on #Gators QB Kyle Trask.

So no opt out.

Trask should sit out.

He has no receivers.

He could get hurt.

Best chance to win would be with a running QB.

If he chooses to come back he'll still be the starting QB. If he chooses to bolt, a good game won't increase his stock but a (probable) bad game with multiple ints (new WRs running the wrong route) and multiple drops will hurt.
