This game is going to be a good opportunity for the young guys at receiver to show what they're capable of. We've heard the coaches rave about Weston and Fraziars in practices at times, so it would be nice to finally see what they can do. Henderson has gotten better as we've gotten deeper in the season and I expect him to show up. Not sure if Whittemore is healthy, but he would be quite valuable if available. Also, I hope guys like Shorter, Wells, Gamble, and Zipperer will lead the young guys and keep the offense moving in critical situations. I anticipate our RBs will be quite influential in the passing attack as well. I think Trask has proven he isn't afraid to spread the ball around and I'm certain he will play well. The defense is the only question mark, per usual. They don't exactly inspire confidence this season.

Trask still has plenty of people to throw to.

Call me crazy (and I'm sure people will) but we are going to score 40 points even without all those guys against OU's hideous defenders. The problem is we'll give up more than 40 points on defense ourselves.

Trask is going to have his usual 400+ yards and 4+ TD's.
I like where your heads at. Rick wells has waited 8 years for this moment. It's his time to shine!

Has Rick Wells dropped a pass? we hear every year he's making a push in spring. perhaps I'm just remembering spring games but I felt like his hands were pretty good from what I've seen.

He blocks well. I see him hustling on special teams. He isnt a speedster but I think he is at least as fast as Grimes or Cheeseburger in pads.

I really doubt we'll be able to tell the difference between Wells and Shorter. Wells would put up 500 yards just like every other receiver if he started. 500 really isnt setting the world on fire. Grimes dropped 40% of his passes and he can still did it.

Well the U almost handled a big 12 team without their first string QB, we might be able to do so as well. I don't blame the NFL bound for opting out and we should have plenty of younger receivers to maintain a good offense. Now on defense who knows if they even know how to play or line up.

No Miller or Campbell on defense tonight.
Per Brett McMurphy:
Florida will be w/out 4 defensive starters including Ventrell Miller, UF’s leading tackler, & DL Kyree Campbell, sources told
@Stadium
. 1st report Yahoo. UF also won’t have leading 4 receivers vs. Oklahoma tonight in Cotton Bowl
