I think there’s a chance as well. But nothing certain. The guy lost to both Mullen and McElwain, and with some of his better teams. As I said, if it’s a Jets situation, so be it. But trading as if we’re landing a Meyer is inaccurate. Honestly, there’s no one out there that carries that type of near guarantee. Fickle would be the closest and I, personally, don’t want another DC turned HC. There’s a reason Freeze is considered the hot name and Texas just hired an OC with decent at best HC experience plus baggage. There just isn’t some plethora of slam dunk options right now.

So as much as I get and agree with the Mullen criticism, we should be careful what we wish for. It’s still in our best interest that he gets it together and is successful here.

Not arguing the need to keep him here and let him grow as a head coach...I honestly think he stubbornly believes he can only do it one way and that’s the way he did it at MSU...he’s not cracking but starting to feel the pressure he never felt at MSU and he’ll either fix it or be the same guy...it’s up to him whether he’s the thumb wrestling guy or the awe shucks we tried guy

At some point, he might grow up. Everyone wants to be the team that wins the musical chairs and gets HC Kiffin. The problem is he'll leave an indeterminate number of teams in shambles on his way there (if he ever gets there).

I wasn't referring to Mullen, I was referring to Kiffin. To my knowledge, he hasn't made a lot of excuses (could be wrong about that), but he's talked a lot of s*** about other teams. Spurrier did the same thing, but he actually won the games, which Kiffin doesn't do.
