I’m not about to ask how weird, but really. How weird was it?

I was at my uncle’s house near Boulder Colorado with @jaywalker72, who was my roommate at the time. We drove home playing “Celebrate” on the radio over and over.

He can also confirm I called the final score before the game.
Can confirm.

Can confirm.
Great genre. I'm guessing you guys also played "The Pina Colada Song," "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "The Safety Dance."

Really glad I wasn't in the backseat while you guys busted your pipes on that crap. I would've shot myself in the face by the time you guys got to "Puttin on the Ritz."

Is there a way to setup up an alert that texts me with every Pasty post?

I had just gotten my masters from UF and moved into my new apartment in WPB. From the day I moved in, this obnoxious azzhole of a semenholes fan would stop his car outside my apartment and blare that horrible tomahawk chop music. Every damn day. So when the game was over, I got in my car, drove around the complex until I found his car, rolled down my windows, and cranked up “We Are The Champions”. Ah, sweet revenge on the field for our Gators, and in the parking lot for me.

Had a "friend" call and hang up every time FSU scored in the first half. I returned the favor in the second half.

I was there with my father and about 10 of my best UF friends. We had a few 3 bedroom time shares on Chartres St. in the Quarter. The celebration of the Ohio State victory over ASU the previous night was a great prelude the greatest day to be Gator in history.

IIRC, their white LB, I believe Bush was his name, dropped some Hershey squirts in his pants while playing with the flu or whatever it was he and some other players had(lame ass excuse for getting whipped). Bowden even feared the result of that very game would happen if there were to be a rematch, which is exactly why he didn't want his team playing UF.

Had only been married for a little over 7 months with a 4 year old stepson who naturally became a Gator and eventually became a UF grad in 2015. I had watched the game at my Dad's( at Jax) along with my brother, a UF grad.
I didn't even sleep that whole night and went to work that very morning just giving the dipsh*t FSU fans the Colin Castleton stare(before he got called for a technical vs LSU). 24 years later, most of the FSU fans are still butt hurt and will go postal on me any time I bring up the Florida-FSU game. Other Semen Holes fans try to brush it off as another game that happened ages ago.

My Grandparent’s house (we had watched the Fiesta Bowl at home), he had one of the old TV’s that sat on the floor at the time. Such a fun time. We later moved into that house in ‘02 and watched the ‘06 Natty with him there as well.
