absolutely he can fired for cause. it's pretty clear. a lot more so than the butters crazy death threat situation.Interesting thought, but with the NCAA violations, couldn't he be fired for cause? Methinks so.
Great question!Because of the probation, could he be fired and receive no buyout?
yesBecause of the probation, could he be fired and receive no buyout?
Actually, the UF admin is.
They may fire him today.
Another one of these silly "optics" posts. FIRE HIS ASS FOR CAUSE. We'll be able to replace him with a quality coach, I assure you.I just dont see how this UAA would fire Dan for cause over the recruiting violations. What coach would want to work here if the UAA did that? The optics are horrible. While we all have serious issues with the way the program is going, the outside perspective is that Dan came in and fixed a broken program. He is the winningist 3 year head coach of Florida of all time (I think, read that in one of the articles but didnt verify it). Again, I know we have opinions about the failures he is making but the outside perspective is very high on the job Mullen has done. I seriously think the UAA values that perspective.
Did you read tue SDS article?
By Hayes, this isnt some Crab type thing.
First and 10: Will Dan Mullen be coaching Florida in 2021? It’s far from certain …
I almost feel like that needs a new thread. This tells you what the administration is thinking.
That is YUUUUGE.
I didn’t realize that the recruiting violation was such a sticking point for the administration
Dorky Dan taking repeated vacations during recruiting season then getting fired for sending texts and meeting with a recruit, a west coast recruit we had no chance to land, during a no-contact period is hilarious.
you got to wonder why he didn't just do his job instead of waiting till midnight and trying to cram.

good because we've lost interest in him. at least those who ever had interest in him. It's pretty damn clear Mullen has lost interest in the Florida job.
