Smart move to jump ship from the dumpster fire that Mullen has started, IMO. He probably won't get drafted after next season either. Doesn't matter.
He's a good kicker and has good range. Some team will pick him up as a FA.
One of the best kickers in the league was an undrafted FA last year (the dwag Blankenship).

Huge head scratcher. He's a slightly above average kicker that can hit a 55 yarder occasionally, i.e. a dime a dozen.
