You're attempting to foster a "sports bar" environment. It says so on the tagline. Even though I am certain I do not have a drinking problem, I've been in sports bars all up and down the east coast - actually, if we go back a few years I can say all over the world. While a bar may have a tilt to one team or another and maybe even call themselves a "Steelers bar" for example, they've never required a loyalty oath to one team upon entry.

While this guy roots for another school, presumably he shares with us on the Chatter a general passion for the game itself. I wouldn't want him polluting our board with Penn State minutiae, much in the same way I appreciate DaytonaCane representing her school but in a manner that contributes to the conversation on the board. Maybe the dude wants to blabber about politics and can contribute to the PF.

But on second thought, you're right. Let's run him off so Law can get back to making every other post.

You don’t get it. 99% of other fans show up here for one reason, and that’s to try and spam a product. This guy was no different.

I think his time as a WR is coming to an end. He may need to switch to the "Pitts" position. He just not fast enough to be a full time WR starter in the SEC.

OK - and none of those jerkweeds should be welcome. So on this, we agree.

But if a fan of another school wants to come in and mix it up with good spirit, then I say the more the merrier. Man, with this guy from earlier today, the Pedo State stuff would write itself.

There was a Chugger fan that used to post periodically that was OK. And DaytonaCane. The flipside is that Chugger with the Raylan Givens avatar - can't think of his screen name - he was a raging douche and you showed abundant patience before banning him. Guys like him - and insufferable Gators like Sas that make the place a lot less enjoyable shouldn't be allowed.

Maybe, but I don't think too much. In the end, we all want to log on, vent frustrations, maybe learn something new (this place has literally become my only source for recruiting info), share victories, commiserate over team failures, and maybe have a laugh while picking on one another. It can't hurt to periodically hear from another fan base in a good-natured manner. And I assume you want to get paid. Page views from Chuggers or Bucknuts pay you as much as Gator views. I'm just looking out for you.
