This thread was started in Feb 2017 (after a top 10 recruiting class) announcing the stand alone football complex.

Almost 4 years later and we moved some dirt around. (In the same time frame, I've moved more dirt for my garden).

With money from SEC TV contracts, Gator Boosters and season tickets continuing to pour in, it doesn’t leave much sense of urgency for the bureaucrats who run the UAA.

We’ve gone fat in our thinking, which is synonymous for complacent. The bureaucrats will deny it, but it’s obvious. The obscene TV money has in a paradoxical way injected socialistic thinking into college athletics.

So as you can see, you have the desire to have a flowering, productive garden on an annual basis. The admin and the muckity mucks have zero desire to compete at the highest level on a regular basis. They would rather be lucky than good.

Meanwhile Covid has not had any effect on all of the building I see going on all over Orlando. I'd love an explanation of just how Covid has effected construction and why, if it's been going on since March, is the delay 60 days? Shouldn't it be delayed until Covid is over if Covid is such a problem?

The guy that hammers in the ground stakes got the COVID. While in the hospital with the sniffles they realized he was an illegal alien and was deported back to Guatemala. They’re waiting on his paperwork so he can return. I just hope they don’t lose his hammer in the meantime.
