Congratulations to Gatorchatter!

Nothing will test a message board like NSD. It's a challenge to its functionality, mods, and posters. GC performed at the highest level today in all areas. It slightly slowed during the frenzy around 2PM, but that was still better than any board I've ever seen. There was a great flow of information from Williston, Tag, DC and others, combined with a wide range of emotions and commentary from the rest of us. Additionally, the mods did a great job keeping the peace and the strings moving when needed.

Ox, my hat goes off to you. Congratulations to making this the best damn message board out there!

Mods did a great job - GatorJ was a man possessed this morning. We set traffic records all over the place. First we shattered the "users online" record with 349 (previous record 319). And with over 3 hours left in the day, we've already obliterated the pageviews record with over 32,000 (previous record 26,700). Over 1,400 unique visitors so far today!

Thanks for the support everybody! It's going to be one seriously anticipated season this year. Lot of buzz.

We did lose a couple during the day, but that was part of the entertainment. I'm sure they know what they missed. I wonder when they will return?

Bulla has been MUCH better lately and I, for one, appreciate his effort in that regard. I think he just got too miffed with the panic mode some got into this morning (as I did) and I hope he'll be back. We need a variety of views/opinions to make this board the best.

By far the flow of information was better than other sites I was lurking around. Even BSPN. Williston was all over it. Mods were great and some meltdowns and a little time out needed. Just another reason GC is tops!

He was insufferable when Muschamp was here. But he's been a really good poster since the cleansing.
