For an AD whose ONLY credential to be known as "pr guy" how can he not see that every second that goes by without addressing this is harmful PR? I mean the guy was a MSU media intern that stumbled his way into the AD chair at UF, but this is ridiculous.

Even worse than having an AD that used to be a ticket office intern.

This picture of him holding the most random trophy ever sums up his career

Isn't that a flower vase like the one I saw at Walmart ?

No, you saw that one at a pawn shop. Foley insisted in monetizing the trophy to help pay for phase 3 of the locker room upgrade, which was adding a filter to the water cooler.

Stay tuned for details of the next phase, based on monetizing our SEC East championship trophy. Rumor has it that phase 4 will be new urinal cakes for the locker room bathroom.

Am I the only one who thinks Cousin Eddie is going to have to take an extra extra extra long extended vacation very soon? I am sure he must be exhausted from the numerous, long, hard, tiring and arduous interviews he has had to endure with so many different NFL teams. Wait, oh no one has even considered him for their opening? Oh wait, what I meant to say is that he is going to need an extended vacation b/c Cousin Eddie and his agent must be exhausted from talking and pumping and pumping and talking when exactly ZERO people are taking notice or listening. That is much more exhausting that having to endure long and arduous NFL interviews. Hang in there Cousin Eddie, perhaps one day Urb's might need an asst. WR's coach, that is if Leyer has not come up some some other excuse to bow out.

I would personally pay the buyout of grantham if i was AD, and I guarantee any gator or somewhat competitive person would do the same

The fact that the incompetent Grantham even has a buyout is a monument to the stupidity of this admin. Mullen must have been weighing in heavily on that idiocy. Mullen, Grantham and Marco Wilson should have a portrait taken as the "Face of Florida Football"

... The portrait called "Deface of Florida Football".

I’ll say something controversial, I’ve got to hand this to Stricklin, most AD’s would’ve caved by now and given a public extension. Glad that, for now, Strick is saying a 4 loss season and winning nothing doesn’t deserve what could be a very expense buyout in the future (if he granted an extension and then we go 6-6 next year)

Agreed, Truth, assuming that this reflects an intentional decision by Stricklin for the reason you stated. Given the snail's pace of construction on the standalone football facility, lack of support staff for recruiting, failure to get rid of Grantham before he torpedoed what could really could have been a championship football season for us this past season, failure to mount a serious and high-profile Heisman campaign for Trask, etc., I can't say that I understand what Stricklin is actively trying to do for our football program.

It's worse than you know. If Grantham takes another job then HE owes US. So even if someone wanted to hire them they'd have to pay that buyout and nobody is going to want Grantham that much.

What I am hoping is that Stricklin is saying: “Can Grantham and we’ll talk about it”. But probably not.

Fire just Grantham when it's Mullen's high-scoring offense that makes the D flop look so bad?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that when a coach is under some sort of NCAA mandate or like a show cause, that the coach can't receive a raise and/or extension until that runs out. Does anyone know of this rule? and I believe that this situation has been in the works by the NCAA long before it was made public.
