I hope UT ends up having to pay some sort of buyout, just to put them further in the hole (although Pruitt probably got caught w/ his hand in the cookie jar).

I doubt it makes it to the courts. The last thing UToothless wants is for the dirty laundry to make it to the public regarding recruiting infractions. I credit UToothless for taking this action as it appears they feel they have merit. I wish we had done that with Butters and his BS death threats. I think we could have gotten off at least 50% cheaper. Me thinks some type of settlement will occur to avoid any court action.

UT had to hire lawyers to investigate the alleged recruiting violations anyway but they didn’t necessarily have to hire the high-profile team they did. Unless of course they had a double-agenda, namely to verify their legal standing on Pruitt’s buyout.
Just a guess but an educated one that those dudes’ billings came in at under $12.6m. Although with lawyers, you never know.

Maybe the big donors are balking, one sure couldn't blame them. Universities don't know the value of a dollar until you cut them off.

tennessee should go with a boring solid hire like a Bielma to Illinois type of hire. They need someone maybe that has been fired but has experience... Someone like Bielma that had some success but flamed out. I'm thinking maybe even Gus Malzahn or Tom Herman.. I don't think a new exciting hire will do anything for Tennessee they aren't talented and they aren't going to bring some new creative offense there either... They are lucky to get a guy and get them to 8-4 for a while... Truth hurts..
