Wheeee. Certainly takes some of the fun out of football when you have an unstoppable monopoly like this. Might as well just give them the NC Trophy every year in advance.

yep. Alabamians have nothing in their lives but football. So they invest massive amounts of money into it. They treat it like a corporation unto its own. Every other school treats it as a part of the university.

Until somebody steps up and shuts down recruitment windows and QA coaching loopholes, Bama will continue its dominance.

Ohio State and Georgia are the only others who are slightly following Bama’s lead. Georgia the most. But they aren’t seeing the returns. And they also aren’t investing in The facilities like Bama.

All we need to have happen is Saban retire, then things will return more to normal.

NSD was in December. I doubt we take anyone at all today after the transfers coming in.

Don't shoot the messenger....but, today is "National Signing Day" (NSD). The December signing date is know as "Early Signing Day" (ESD). We're not expected to sign any HS kids today

Well... we just poured a 10' x 10' foundation for the construction portapotties prior to imminent (as in climate crisis type "imminent") construction of the standalone football complex, so 5 stars should be flocking to us (especially if they want to take stand alone dumps).

Actually that’s a really good point. We could probably be ranked seventh or eighth if we took kids that would not end up being in this class.

Which isn’t some thing the top tier teams do.

I saw a tweet last night that said Alabama has 16 players from the top 100 in the country in this class. To put into perspective, Oklahoma has 16 players that were top 100 recruits on their entire roster. And they are 8th in overall team talent rankings in the country.
I just counted: Alabama currently has 16 of the top 100 (per Rivals); the rest of the SEC combined has 19.

I just wanted to contribute to this thread since it's probably going to be fairly empty of news. According to the last Gators Breakdown I watched a couple days ago we aren't expecting to pick up any new guys today so it should be a boring day for us Gators. They speculated that we'd be holding onto the one or two counters we have left to use on the transfer portal.

10th in Rivals. But probably won’t be by end of day.

13th in 247 but will probably drop.

It would be nice if these recruiting services updated their class rankings based on transfers. I don't know if that means they factor it in to the current class or if they go back and reorder the previous class rankings. A spot on the roster is a spot on the roster.

Of. All. Time.

@BarrettSallee: Camar Wheaton signing with Alabama locks Alabama for the No. 1 rated class of all time. National Signing Day 2021: Alabama set to ink the top-rated college football recruiting class of all time

So, another 5* Alabama RB with dreads that will eventually pour out of his helmet--going inexplicably horizontal even, as if they're made of some sort of twisty ties--and who will ultimately dash the hopes and dreams of potential tacklers for years to come.

Good for them. They haven't had one of those in forever it seems.
