You did it because you are ok in making excuses for someone who selling "relentless effort" while not applying it himself Who shows a lack of professionalism while representing the school. What progress has he truly made? We were a 4 loss team in a year with one of the best offensive outputs in school history? It's as bad as Muschamp lost year in 2012.

Butters was a failure, but at least he wrote his own check out. Mullens lies though not as damning as death threats, are the type of lies that keep us middling for another decade.

The administration is bad and he is just as bad. It wasn't the administration that changed the culture at UF, it was Head Coaches Pell forced that changes, Spurrier forced change, and Meyer forced change. Hell Butters has forced more change in the Administration that Mullen.

You're wrong on the bolded and as to the rest, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Sorry I ruined y'all's pity party.

I'm wrong, that is the reason we were quiet on National Signing Day and Making excuses after the LSU game and Cotton Bowl? But here you are making excuses for your excuses.

Mullen ain't dumb, maybe mediocre and lazy..but not dumb. He knows all he needs to do is beat Ugay every now and then, keep his head above water against FSU score pts his boy ain't firing him. We are headed to the shtter next year.

No, you're wrong because I am not making excuses for him and am not happy with him saying one thing and doing the other. You're wrong as to the WHY of me posting the article.

Your post in #960 has nothing to do w/my reply in #959.

No he isn't dumb, he knows he was one Covid virus away from a pay raise, as long as he keeps us "in the conversation" he will keep most the administration to keep getting those $6 million/ year happening. He wasn't going to get it elsewhere, and the silence after the NFL "rumors" proves it.

If the article really fit what you are claiming, you would have made a separate thread for it. Which is where it would naturally go, but too many people were pointing out his laziness and lies and you threw it in there to defend him.

It makes zero sense to create another thread for this article alone. None.

This thread is discussing Mullen's recruiting and the title has been changed multiple times. Perhaps it should be changed to, "Further proof of ONLY Mullin's bad recruiting." Under this scenario, I would NOT have posted the article.

It's wokeness in the AA and the whole damn school. Football isn't getting all the attention it used to when SOS and Meyer were there so the "other sports" can feel better and not "under appreciated". And lets face it with Covid, it's hard to tell the difference in the turnout for men vs womens basketball and I am sure Gymnastics as well.

Most of the other sports at UF during the SOS years hated him because he always pointed out that Gator FB was king on that campus. He was subtle, but obvious in that Spurrier sort of way..almost exclusive to him.

A lot of other coaches loves Spurrier, the revenue from football paid for the elite level track facilities and other improvements in the S&C for all sports. The only true hatred might come that he would let anyone use "his" field. Especially after the Rolling Stones concert in the early 90s.

I know we have said this several times here, but do we know for a fact that Arnold didn't get an NLI from us because we figured we were fine at safety? Or was it he told us not to bother because he was down to just Ugly and Bama?

If it's the former that's inexcusable; as awful as our safety play has been, a serious infuse of talent is and has been needed and from everything I read this guy was a real deal. If it's the latter that's inexcusable too; a guy we lead for heading into the homestretch should always a priority for the whole staff until the deal is closed and we should never drop the ball so bad he tells not to even bother sending the NLI.

That info has been coming from the 247 insiders. Started about a week before NSD.

They said communication was not dropping from Arnold to us. But rather, we no longer wanted to bring him on because we could just use counters on the portal.

Mullen sucks and is officially on limited time. He may be here a while longer, but we all know it's over bc he's lazy, apathetic, full of excuses an isn't interested in doing what the job or the paycheck requires.

Never even thought about it as Mullen mailing it in. I just figured it's just Mullen being Mullen. Unprofessional....sure. Idiotic...what else would you expect.

While I believe we are on the same side of the aisle with regards to the big picture, I disagree that he is on limited time. I don't think he is going anywhere unless he leaves on his own. He is good enough to keep us in the 9-11 win per season marker and that I think is good enough to keep him employed as the UF head coach. I think stricklin will just let it go on and on and on all the while considering it a great success as we go to the peach bowls every year. The only thing I think that could get him fired is if he continues to have weird post game press conferences and the such that makes Stricklin have to go stand in front of that fuching pos university president.
