How do you dispose of your sensitive documents? Asking for a friend. ;)

We are fortunate enough to have bonfires so I can feed the papers in slowly. Just wondering what others do with documents that shouldn’t be thrown away like tax returns, bribes from the government, hit man contracts, etc.

When I was in the office, I would just put my confidental information with the other classified confidential information. Now I shred it and use it to start the grill on the weekends.

We have large locked bins in the office to put sensitive documents. Once a month, a semi truck pulls up and EASILY shreds that massive amount of paper being dumped into a fine dust.

So I put my stuff into those bins.

I've tried burning but what a pain in the ass. I could have a massive, many hour long, bonfire. And when I go to rake it down the next day... all that fuching paper is barely burned.

We had three trash bags full of paper from cleaning out filing cabinets and my mom’s estate. The weather has to be perfect to burn paper and we had that the other night fortunately. A shredder would be much easier.

I normally stack all the papers on the back of my flatbed and haul ass. Let the mexicans who pick up the trash on the side of the road deal with it.

Sensitive documents?

I scream at them until they start crying and their mascara runs.

We have places that are the same, Iron Mountain or Shred-It. I also see UPS Stores offer shredding.

Secure Document Destruction | Iron Mountain

Offers at The UPS Store | Shipping & Packing, Printing, Mailboxes
